I got the fish Soup. It waa massive, made for two-three people. It was aromatic with cilantro, ginger, bean sprouts and enoki mushrooms. There was lots of fish as well. Their chill oil is on point and is usually a sign of the care and quality of the rest of the dishes. I also got the snails tossed in chilli oil. The flavors was awesome. Definitely worth checking this place out, far from the strip too.

It was a very good first experience. The place is great, and I’d definitely come back if I have the chance.
...We've had meals in Guangzhou many times, and the food at this restaurant is truly authentic and incredibly delicious Chinese cuisine.

If you’re a heat seeker, look no further! Spicy Zest knows how to bring the fire while keeping the flavors rich and delicious. The pickle fish was a surprise tasty, and chicken gizzards lived up to the hype (but be warned—they’re seriously spicy!). The ambiance was lively, and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food and great vibes! 5/5
Spicy Zest is hands down one of the best Sichuan restaurants in Vegas!b I’ve been to in a long time. The dishes are packed with flavor, authentic spices, and served in generous portions — perfect for sharing. We had a huge spread including spicy boiled fish, dry chili chicken, stir-fried green beans, cold noodles, and so much more. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The portions are generous, the flavors are rich and spicy, and the quality is consistently excellent. Perfect spot for group dinners or family gatherings. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service — this place is definitely going to be one of my regular go-tos!

Excellent taste! Tried the Soup dumplings
Chris fried rice with shrimp, and Golden spicy broth with sliced waygu beef, let me tell you it did not disappoint. Everything had its own unique flavor, not like other places where all the food items taste alike. Highly recommend if you you are around the southwest Las Vegas area!

Taste and texture was on point. This place is best to come with a group since dishes are priced and menued for family style portions. This place has potential!!! Just don't order the two things we got. Szechuan/Sichuan cuisine suggested by Yelper Doriee L. Thank you!
17. A-Choy, Garlic $15.99.
- This has a bit of sand in it. Not cleaned well.
10. Spicy snails $9.99. This is already premixed so you can not customize on the spicy level.
- The snails are super tiny. The taste was medium spicy, with herbal hint of flavor I like.
- This has A LOT of sand in it. Not correctly purged/cleaned. More than 90% of it had sand in it :/ Like alot of sand, not just tiny amounts in each one. On top of it, it's like tiny pebbles too. This dish is NOT edible.
3. Wok-Fried Pork Kidney and Liver $22.99. We asked for small spicy which translates to mild. SO enjoyed this. This dish normally is just too salty for my tastebuds which is normal. But at least it's not as salty, and taste better than Special Noodle Restaurant (a restaurant I'm not a fan of).
I am interested in trying out a lot more dishes. I'm actually full of hope for this place. Because there really isn't that many decent places, I'm open to mistakes like sand, less clean process, etc. Doesn't mean I'll eat the sand. We'll just to find the dishes that's better. But everything tastes on point. Beggars can't be choosers.
Sadly for Vegas, anything that tastes like Chinese food, that is not great, but not horrible would be a 4 stars. Nothing has been on par to 4 stars LA (which is 5 stars here), which has much more competition, more ppl cultured in the food, and has a larger dense community to judge/higher expectations of their own cultural cuisine. This place would be a Vegas 4 star, except all the sand and pebbles we kept eating. I'm very sure it can be a 4 star in Vegas.
Many places that don't even taste like Chinese food still get 4 stars by ppl. Chinese food is expensive in Vegas because there isn't much of a community here, and both tourists and many locals don't know what it's supposed to taste like.
The food and the service is amazing, super recommend restaurant
