We ate here before and it was delicious but this time was a whole different story. Three of the items we wanted to order were out on Sunday for a 6:30 dinner. Our main courses took 40 minutes to come and two orders were cold. Hardly saw our server. Will have a hard time returning to this restaurant.

Great restaurant with a cool vibe and beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice. We had a nice healthy “ish” lunch. Good array of choices on the menu. The guacamole was really good but not over the top as the menu lead us to believe, it was a bit bland, but was fresh. On the way out, there is a cookie/coffee stand that didn’t disappoint. Huge variety to choose from.

Beautiful coastal ambiance, friendly staff, and a good menu!
Recommend pizza making for little ones! So fun and surprisingly delicious.
Will definitely be back!
Atmosphere: summer house is one of those places that has range. It works for date nights, family outings, and occasions where you just need a little more value for your money. It's intimate, modern, and detailed.
Food: first timer, got an appetizer and an entre. It was just okay in call honesty. More presentation than taste if that makes sense. Opportunity for the kitchen to experiment with different dishes or recipes. I got the meatballs, and the fish tacos. No dessert.
Service: this is the part that I'm the most torn about. We didn't have the best server. Not horrible by any stretch but a little cavalier for my taste which translated to sparatic attention to our table. However the food runners were good. Attentive, positive attitude and good communication. I wish one of them was our server instead to be honest. I did leave a good tip on the chance that servers split tips with the runners at the end of the night. So yeah for what it's worth, please be mindful of how your energy and demeanor can impact a customers experience of the restaurant: especially if it's their first time.
I'd recommend summer house. I'd be more interested in seeing what the lunch time atmosphere is like.

From reception to wait staff to the bus boys, the service is first rate. Professional, quick, and with personality. I have been here before and wanted to show it to my partner. I have had Steak Frites, which was prepared rare as ordered, with frites like all Belgian restaurants provide, done to a turn. Lovely meal and my regular order. This visit, however, I could not pass up the Maine lobster in Risotto and truffles. The risotto was excellent and the bits of lobster throughout added to this flavorful dish. My partner had short ribs that appeared dry rubbed and barbecued. They were good; but not like braised short ribs. If you expect that, take a pass, there were plenty of ribs, and we had it for lunch today. As in all of the restaurants at Durango, I don't appreciate the wine list. I brought my own tonight a Peju, Cab Franc 2017, which went well with the short ribs and didn't hinder the risotto at all. The corkage at this restaurant is a modest $25, and I recommend bringing your favorite wine.
I've been at least 6 times and all were fantastic, but this last time: service was slow, food was off (all of the salads needed more dressing), coffee and matcha/chai drinks weren't hot enough, had to ask for water twice.
Sharing my birthday with good friends and good food was a joy. Atmosphere so light and bright and even though every table was filled we could have a normal conversation. Our service was attentive and acknowledged our celebration. We all had the breakfast burrito and every bite delicious went well either my 1996 Spritzer!

The water glass had a terrible smell. The waitress had to bring 3 different glasses. The bottle that the water was in did not smell it had something to do with your glasses.
Besides booking a PDR which is the private dining room and showed up and didnt get it even though no one was in there and it had drinks that wasnt cleaned up yet showed me that it was available. Food was great, ambience was good as well. Steak frites was amazing from here. Also out waiter was great.
Food was excellent. Service was not so good. My drink was filled only once. Asked several times for refill but got passed on. Server had too much going on. Same for those at my table.
This was a great meal with great service. I have an allergy to gluten and ordered miso salmon and my friend had adobo tacos and we both really liked our meals!
Lovely ambiance! Our server (Makaela) was excellent. Food is delicious with many options.😋
