Lovely ambiance! Our server (Makaela) was excellent. Food is delicious with many options.😋
I rated Summer House the way I did because it was "very good" for no reason. It's location in the new, impressive Durango casino left me with the impression that it really didn't excel. My wife liked her fish tacos. I liked my chicken basket. I did notice that our waiter seemed to have tables some distance from our table. He seemed to be running around. Just an impression.
Our sever seemed overwhelmed and had tables all over the restaurant, which I know is not normal because I have been a server for many years. Service was extremely slow and we were always having to ask for something because he wasn't ever near our table. It was during the holiday season so perhaps people called in and he was picking up extra tables.
Staff was great. Very pleasant and customer service focused. Ambiance was nice. Food was really good. Gluten free options were plentiful.
We had only been to Summer House for a birthday party so this was our first time ordering from menu. Appetizers of guacamole & chips and the wagyu meatballs were excellent. Note that the actual size is larger than the pictures on the website menu. We really could have stopped there. Also ordered the chicken basket & chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding. Only drawback is pricing is on the high side. That said, the food is high quality so you won't feel cheated.
Don't need a hostess in a midriff top greeting us at a restaurant. Save it for a club. Our waiter was fantastic and did everything he could to make us happy. Chicken basket...chicken was nice but the coating bland and lacked seasoning/salt. Coffee was burnt or had been sitting on a burner all day. Love the jalapeno corn bread, always! Don't start slacking on service, we love this restaurant.
We came for Thanksgiving dinner prefix menu and it was awful. The turkey was so dry and the sides were bland and awful. There was a hair in my friend's salmon which was also tasteless that she has almost eaten. It's was a huge disappointment to say the least. The manager made it right by taking off thr plate and remaking it but at that point we were fully regretting dining there. We won't be eating there again of recommending it.
What a great Thanksgiving dinner. We had an amazing time. The food and the service were superb and we will definitely be going back. Im soooooo glad we chose this restaurant for our first official family Thanksgiving. The food was sooo amazing and as close to homemade as you can get. Leftovers were even better!
excellent service and food, easy access. overall outstanding thanksgiving meal for our family.
The food was not that good, we had the Thanksgiving dinner. The environment was soo cute and aesthetically pleasing. The servers were all very nice and professional. May go again to try from their regular menu.

Booking our reservation was great. I liked how OpenTable was able allow me to put in a request for a booth and the Hostess at Summer House gave my Mom and I just that. Our server Natalie was super great with my Mom and I. Definitely a place to come back and try other dishes Summer House at Durango Casino in Las Vegas has to offer. Thank you Summer House for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Loved the decor and ambience. Food was hit or miss - some of us loved our meals and some was meh. Service was ok but not particularly engaging or personable. Was asked if we were celebrating anything when booking, which we were (an engagement), but this was never acknowledged at any point. Which is fine but why ask at all? Overall night was good, but probably won't go back anytime soon.
My customer dinner was not what I was used to from Summer House. Let's start with the good. Our server was quite nice and did well considering the mistakes made with my order. She gets 5-stars. Now to the not so good. I ordered the crab cakes. My order came out with a stack of toast. Five pieces to be exact. I didn't ask for toast nor did I want toast. The crab cakes were burnt and lacked flavor. Lastly, the salad that was supposed to come with my crab cakes was drenched in dressing which was not appetizing. Overall, the poor dining experience has soured me from returning.
I wish I could remember names, specifically our server. He was awesome. Great recommendations & great food. We will be back.
This is a very nice restaurant located in Durango Station Hotel and Casino. I like taking clients here because it has an upscale menu with service to match. I highly recommend going here for business or with friends.
