The location on Sunset tends to be crowded, and it would be beneficial if they redesigned the main dining room. As someone who works in the food industry, I pay close attention when I see people preparing food, ensuring they don’t touch their hair, glasses, or body piercings.
I also dislike that a coffee shop aligns itself with political rhetoric and activism, such as supporting the ACLU, which I believe to be an antisemitic organization. I would prefer to support local charities and contribute to my community instead. There are many homeless individuals in this city, and several great organizations are working to help them.
I must say I do appreciate that they replaced my drink without any problems. I ordered the advertise, dark chocolate, cherry mocha, and personally I feel like it needed more chocolate to be represented as dark chocolate it kind of reminded me of a Yoohoo drink.

We gave this place another chance after receiving not the best customer service a few times. I ordered a chia cup and took it to my table which was about 1 metre away. It had clearly been sitting there a long time as it had a lot of water sitting on top of it. We nicely asked for a fresher one and the server told us we had to pay for another one if we weren’t happy. lol never again
Fast and friendly.

A coffeehouse whose pastries are better than the drinks? My partner ordered the caramel iced latte and I ordered the iced banana matcha along with the bear claw. The latte wasn't bad but really had no caramel flavor, and the banana matcha didn't have any banana taste at all! The only redeeming item was the bear claw, but otherwise we were very disappointed. Not worth the hype, sadly.
$7-8 for a latte plus having a tip is too much. $10 for a latte??
Mothership is my favorite coffee shop but they open around 8am. I'm so glad I found this place powered by mothership so they have the same menu but opened earlier and so close to sunset park.
Always happy to stop here for an oat milk latte! The staff is friendly and helpful - Luis provides great service! The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet, with cute murals and relaxing music. There are plenty of small tables for bringing a laptop, and a cute outdoor area for when the weather is good.

I was really looking forward to visiting this café for the cool coffee art and relaxing vibe, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the setting.
We ordered coffee for here but were served in plastic cups. I didn’t realize we had to ask for glass, and when I politely brought it up, George poured the coffee into a ceramic cup and said, “It won’t do anything.” I would’ve much preferred a fresh cup — after the transfer, the coffee was lukewarm and lost the beautiful crafted design I came for. Call me sensitive, but part of the café experience is enjoying a drink that’s been thoughtfully prepared.
What made things worse was the dismissive attitude. No one offered a solution, no one acknowledged the mistake, and instead, the staff openly cursed and complained about how slow the previous day was. For a place where we spent nearly $30 on two coffees and a Danish (with tip), I expected a much more welcoming experience.
George was passive-aggressive and clearly uninterested in making things right. Out of four employees, not one stepped in to help or apologize sincerely. It’s a shame because the space itself is beautiful, but the service doesn’t reflect the environment. I’ve since learned that this seems to be a common issue — and a simple “sorry” doesn’t make up for it. I will be back . I hope to have a better review on my next visit .

I ordered the same coffee for my husband and I , his tasted completely different than mine. After telling the barista this , instead of just remaking it no questions asked ,he made me describe in detail what was wrong with it and told us what he put in it and that remaking the drink would just taste the exact same . My husband and I ended up sharing my drink and left his on the table . Paid $27 (with a small tip ) for 3 drinks all so I couldn’t enjoy one of them. This use to be one of my favorite coffee spots , won’t be coming back .

Ordered a cappuccino with two extra shot and it was luke warm and might as well have been a warm glass of milk. Wouldn't recommend.

This place left a bad taste in my mouth and I didn’t even get anything. 🤮
Fellow vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, health conscious, or even simply just empathetic humans. : DO NOT GO HERE. 🚩🚩🚩
I made the mistake of googling “vegan breakfast near me” & this popped up, I didn’t realize until now that all those reviews are from YEARS ago. If you read recent reviews you’ll see everyone saying the same thing. Service, food & drink quality have all drastically decreased and there’s no lies there.
The only vegan / gf option is a parfait LOL. Not even avocado toast??? Say you hate us without saying you hate us.
All their other food is premade so no substitutions. If I wanted a premade burrito for $11, I could go to 7/11 and get one + tip the KIND salesclerk the change.
Whatever girl is working had dark hair, an annoying voice and a serious attitude. She had zero empathy or compassion and I probably would have at least gotten a drink, but I wouldn’t want someone with her vibes making me anything.
All around terrible experience.
Do NOT recommend!!! Go read my other 100 reviews for solid businesses who support vegans or ATLEAST are KIND.

An out of the way place I like to meet clients if they are in the area. The coffee is good and their food looks tasty (but I haven't tried anything yet. I love the patio when the weather is nice!

I’m sorry to say it, but the location on Sunset & Pecos has become worst and worst. I gave it the benefit of the doubt since other locations had opened but the last three times I went, I had to turn back to get my order corrected. Seems like they don’t sweeten the cream brûlée or teas right after you tell them sweeten PLEASE. && their pastries seem like it’s been out for a day or two. Sad to officially stop trying.
