Alien Burrito never disappoints. Nom nom nom
Edit: this used to be a go to spot but it has gone down in service and quality so much lately that I felt compelled to change this rating to match today's final experience. The menu only has sugary vegan pastries, the coffee is weaker and more expensive, and they are understaffed. đđ
Horrible customer service came for a drink remake and I couldnât get it because it was a week after I was given the wrong drink this place is on the way to work. Waste of time

Food was completely cold, and actually hard in the middle of my sandwich. If Iâm paying more than 10$ for a breakfast sandwich i expect better than cold and hard. Service was good though.

Iâve been a loyal customer for yearsâyour coffee and aesthetics are unmatched. But the atmosphere at this location is a dealbreaker. The music is unnecessarily loud and repetitive, making it impossible to focus, relax, or have a conversation. Coffeeshops should be inviting spaces for connection and comfort, not a place where noise drives people away. If you want a better experience, head to the St. Rose Mothership locationâsame great coffee, but a much more enjoyable environment.
Major accolades for the vegan & gluten-free option. They truly know their audience!

This place can be hit or miss. The breakfast burrito has been good the 2 times I've ordered it. Ham pillow was no good. Cookie was good. On the most recent visit there were not enough people working on a Saturday. I ordered online and instead of putting my order out on the counter and calling my name they hid it behind the counter so I ended up still having to wait in line and my food was cold.

This place used to be a really cozy cafe with exceptional coffee and pastries, now I can tell the place is understaffed and overworked and the folks working the counters are just trying their best to keep up. Iâd like to see someone actually do a write up on whatâs going on with Mothership and the management of their coffee shops.
Delicious coffee, but whatever you do do NOT go through drive through, unless you have an extra 30 mins to spare (not exaggerating). I've been coming to this coffee shop for over 10 years, dinning in is always a lovely time. Waiting behind one car for 20-30mins EVERY SINGLE time is always regretful. I don't believe it to be a food issue, since majority of the time I only see them hand one or 2 coffees to the car in front. And, if it was food related, have a separate waiting bay?
Anyway, great food, great coffee, dont go drive through unless you want to have a panic attack, and have a line of angry honking drivers behind you for a while. :)
Service has gone downhill :(
We normally go to the one in the shopping center with trade joes.
Went inside once and was given attitude by the cashier. My bf asked for something similar to a refresher and the cashier said âthis isnât Starbucks. Idk what that is.â
Then went weeks later went to drive thru and my order completely wrong & over charged.
So annoying.
Please do better.
Usually, I enjoy this spot but recently the interaction between has down sloped. I went through the drive thru, had to gave my order three times. I definitely understand if itâs someoneâs first couple days but thereâs no reason for me to care about the barista dropping 3 pastries that donât concern me.
We pull up to the window, they reread the order and then come to find out the barista deletes one of our three drinks. We waited for atleast 10 minutes for the first two lattes, then after being given our second latte was told âhave a good dayâ.
We were still missing our third drink, we ended up waiting almost 20 minutes.
Mind you, no one was in the drive thru when we got there or when he had left. Plus, there was rarely anyone in the front.
It felt very unprofessional, and itâs disappointing considering we love the efficiency and professionalism from the other workers. I wonât be returning to this location.

I use to really like this place but quality has taken a down turn, unfortunately. I picked up food & coffee for a couple of people and we all had a similar experience. The basic latte tasted pretty watered down or maybe the espresso is intended to be very light instead of the robust flavor espresso typically has, it was closer to milk + a splash of drip coffee instead of a latte. One person loved their special charity mocha though. Breakfast food wasnât great (see pics) and it was sad seeing so many items removed or changed on the menu too. Everything is sitting in a case premade and waiting to be reheated. I think food is made off site now and thus not as fresh. I remember things tasting a lot better before. I ended up removing the egg and meat from my sandwich and just eating the croissant. Tip options were set to 15%, 18%, 20%, which feels weird at an order and pick up from the counter place. It makes me wonder if the owners are paying a little less than average for a local coffee place and hoping tips make up the difference for their employees. All in, 1 basic 12oz latte, 1 16oz fancy latte and 2 egg sausage/bacon and cheese sandwiches + tip was about $50. We ended up looking it upâŠ. And an almost identical order from Sbux would be similar in quality and half the price. Itâs a shame to see this place on the decline.
But at least the barista was pleasant! 2 stars because the barista was nice and the fancy latte was good.
Dietary restrictions: No changes can be made to food items since everything is premade and reheated.

This place is right by my house I use to come here often. But for a latte that is nearing $9 dollars with tip, itâs not something I feel like is worth the money anymore. I was excited to take my friend here recently, been bragging up the coffee. We go through drive through and the person helping us wasnât nice. They canât give out water cups that are bigger than 8 oz. When youâre spending nearly 9 dollars for a latte, a water shouldnât be a problem. My matcha wasnât good quality for the price I paid. The kiddocinos lid was poor and spilled all over the car. 7.50 for a regular watery matcha. Disappointing. The drink is smaller than my hand.
Go to aware coffee. Itâs 15 minutes away but itâs worth the drive. I will no longer be spending my hard earned money here.

The tea and breads are very delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the person who served us, he seemed
in a bad mood đ I wanted my coffee to drink here to drink it in one of those beautiful blue cups but they gave it to me to take away, and when I told the guy he made a face at me and I already had to drink my coffee in a cardboard cup. I took my daughters and we asked for one of the coloring sheets and it seems like he was upset that we asked for it too đ.
Kid-friendliness: They offer activity and coloring sheets

Sunrise and Mothership have been two of my favorite coffee spots for the last 4-5 years, unfortunately within the last year the customer service has gone drastically down hill. Even asking a simple question about the menu you receive attitude. Since Iâve worked in customer service Iâm usually pretty understanding but the fact that even when itâs slow the customer service is anything but polite. Genuinely feels very unwelcoming and like youâre a bother coming in. Drinks and food items are always phenomenal but Iâm not sure if itâs worth it at this point.

Iâm giving it 2 stars because at least my drink, iced bourbon vanilla latte, was decent enough to drink(though Iâm not even sure they added the extra two shots cause it isnât strong at all but maybe thatâs just the beansÂż I donât know, first time being here). I wish I checked my food before I left because it wasnât right when I got home, so thatâs on me I guess. Though we did wait an ungodly amount of time when they werenât even that busy. Iâve worked at a coffee shop before low staffed and all, and this whole experience was crazy to me. We ordered a banana matcha and all we got was green milk. For what this cafe is charging youâd think theyâd at least be able to make the drinks and food correctly. I donât know if itâs this location, but first and last time Iâll be going here.
