I was there friday, april 5th at 8am and some little guy took my order and shorted me a $5 bill of change and when I questioned him, he "found" the bill on the register. my question is why would you put a $5 bill down and give me the rest of the change? sounds shady to me...plus, the coffee wasn't good at all...My first and last time there..

Great coffee, nice people, upbeat environment. We chose this spot looking for a gluten free vegan breakfast for my brother-in-law. While they have numerous options that are one or the other, they don't have any hearty food options that are BOTH gluten free and vegan. He wound up having their matcha "cheese"cake and enjoyed it. Their coconut parfait, and cookies were the other GFV options. We meat eaters had a bacon breakfast sandwich and a big bang burrito, both were very tasty.Dietary restrictions: While they have numerous options that are one or the other, they don't have any hearty food options that are BOTH gluten free and vegan.

$8 for watery gross tasting matcha latte and over $12 for generic pesto pasta. Maybe they have great coffee?Don’t go here for matcha tho lmao. I can get better tasting, larger and cheaper cup at Starbucks ?‍♀️ maybe don’t have matcha on your menu if it’s trash??

Overall: 3.8/5 (take out)We came on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM and the place was pretty full. The space is cozy in terms of the space size and set up. They have a cute nook full of plants which is a great photo op spot as well. The lady that took my order was nice and I like how she asked me questions on my preferences from which coffee roast I would like for my free coffee bean bag and what kind of milk I would like since I tend to forget to ask for a milk alternative.Large (20 oz) Iced Blueberry White Mocha ($7.75) + Oat Milk ($0.75): I was so curious what this flavor would taste like so I had to try it. The blueberry flavor is subtle but the drink overall was delicious! Both my husband and I like this one over the other drink. The only thing is the price tag is a bit high compared to other coffee shops so that's something to consider. I do recommend you drink it all before the ice melts otherwise it will taste watered down since their coffee flavor isn't prominent.Large (20 oz) Iced Chai White Mocha ($7) + Almond Milk ($0.75): We didn't like this drink. It was heavy on the cinnamon powder, the chai was overpowering, and the drink had a more milky texture/taste.White Chocolate Matcha Croissant ($7): This croissant was huge like the Costco ones and it was perfectly coated with the white chocolate matcha. It's good at room temperature but even better if you toast it up a bit.Parking: Small parking lot in front

I actually drove right by where to enter so I had to flip a U'e. Parking was easy & I did notice that the mall plaza that this is located in is pretty much empty. Not too many business's in here so I can see it possibly not being as busy as it could be. It's right next to Enterprise car rental.I did notice the drive thru right after I parked next to it & their cute little outside patio. The side door was broken so I had to use the front door to go inside & was surprised on how many people were inside busy on their computers, cell phones & chatting with their friends. I saw the coffee bags for sale & had gone over there to see what flavors were available but had decided I was just going to ask about them about the flavors as I needed help in deciding on which one to get. I had checked out their menu & pictures prior to arriving so I would have an idea of what I wanted. As soon as I got up to the counter I was greeted by Desmond. I was interested in the Butter Beer drink & had asked about it. I'm not a big coffee fan & when I do drink it I want something that is sweet & that I can't really taste the coffee...I know, I'm weird....LOL Desmond had told me that the Butter Beer was sweet & actually their sweetest. He went over to the coffee bags with me & I told him that I was actually going to give it to my Mom. He asked me what kind of coffee she likes & I told him "medium flavor" he pointed out a few & I went with Ballast Espresso. It is Baker's chocolate & rich caramel. He did tell me that it was actually whole beans & that they could grind them up & I was like "yes please" my Mom doesn't have a bean grinder & neither do I.I ended up ordering a piece of their carrot cake too. I'm not a super big fan of carrot cake but I wanted to try out one of their sweets. I didn't think their pastries looked that good, they looked dried out. While I was waiting I was checking the place out & of course taking pics for Yelp. I couldn't get the whole inside due to all the customer's sitting around. I did notice that they had a table just for the handicap. A bathroom down a little hallway with a bulletin board that I was thinking you could hang up adds on it. There were LV Weekly magazine for free so I grabbed one of those (my favorite) & another magazine that I didn't grab.Once my order was ready Desmond brought it over to me. My drink looked & tasted delicious, I LOVED it, it was sooooo good. It also had some cinnamon or nutmeg sprinkled on top (not sure which it was but it was good). He had put my carrot cake inside a cute bag. Once I got home I found a cute sticker inside the bag, straw, fork & my bag of coffee all grinned up.I had my carrot cake the next day. It was loaded with nuts & raisins, which I'm not a fan of all that stuff inside cakes or cookies but it was moist & had a good taste to it. I found that the frosting which was probably cream cheese? didn't really have any flavor to it. I'm not sure how the bag of coffee I got tastes as I'm saving it for my Mom & probably won't see her till the Summer. I'll have to see what she thinks of it but I'm sure she will like it, she's not really a picky coffee drinker like I am.I thought their 2 tip jars were cute as they each had a different event on them , I couldn't decide so I threw some money in each of them. Thanks for having tip jars available for your customers to leave you hard workers some extra cash to play with.I'd definitely stop back in here when I'm in the area to grab myself another Butter Beer, I just wish they had a bigger size of it because it was soooo delicious!!Thanks for all your help Desmond & being so nice and friendly.

Super cute little coffee shop! I got the butterscotch latte with 4 espresso shots, and it tasted amazing! I was scared it would be overly sweet, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness and it didn’t overpower the coffee taste at all. The inside of the shop is also adorable! Definitely check out this shop if you want to try some special flavors of coffee or tea.

Been coming here for years and still like it but Mothership Inc is getting too greedy and too lazy. Popped in after not having been in lately, and it was annoying that I was charged $8.50 for a large butterscotch latte which was listed on the sign for $6.50. First off, as a rule, businesses should honor their posted prices and second, $8.50 is ridiculous for any coffee. That’s like airport Starbucks prices. It’s shady to charge more than what’s on your sign, makes me have to grill the staff and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When I brought up the price difference, staff said they’re “working on it”.Another thing I didn’t like is they had the raggedy busted little leftover half piece of carrot cake for sale for full price, something like that should not be served to the customer. Not sure I’ll be back. Definitely won’t go out of my way for it anymore.

My red velvet tea latte was fantastic with oatmilk. I was super disappointed with the alien burrito. It's already made, it doesn't have avocado, or pinto beans anymore, but the hummus was delicious. It seems to have more vegan cheese than veggies. I no longer think it's worth buying, yet the chocolate croissant was good.I also miss the hot mess in a bowl.Sunrise used to be my favorite coffee shop but I don't love the seating and now to lose the hot mess and the quality of the burrito isn't worth the drive anymore.I suppose I will be going to a different mothership location closer to my home.

Delicious coffee! I miss the old recipe for the vegan alien burritos though. A few years ago it was a delicious combo of couscous, refried beans, vegetables, vegan mayo, and hummus which sounds weird, but it was amazing.
