I spend a lot of time in the Vegas area for work and was looking for places to eat. I saw a video that was posted on TikTok about this place by the owners daughter so I had to come check it out. I am absolutely blown away! Phenomenal food. It’s very quiet in here, I was the only diner which honestly breaks my heart. The owner was so sweet! I ordered the spicy miso ramen, tuna sashimi, and call 911 roll. It was all so delicious, the tuna was so fresh and tender!!! I highly recommend making a trip to Sushi & Joy. I can’t wait to come back here someday.

I really wanted to like this place as it is convenient for me as it's not far from where I live compared to the other sushi place I normally go to. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I order 4 spicy tuna roll 2 salmon rolls which I could not tell the difference as they tasted and looked exactly the same. It actually had no taste at all. I also got a screaming orgasm that was definitely not what I expected. I asked for extra wasabi with my order and when I got home and opened up my order for all of the food that I got I got a total of two wasabi! What?? Waste of 80.00 bucks!

This is a great little out of the way place. The woman who helps you is super kind and nice. Everything is made to order and hand rolled. I am not sure how much longer they will be open, but I will be back.

My son and I tried this spot for the first time. Walked in and we were the only people in the place, wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad lol turns out it was fantastic. There was just an older woman who sat you, served your drinks and made all the sushi. She was phenomenal. You'll wait a little longer but totally worth it. Great prices, great service, AMAZING food. We will now be regulars.

Edit: unfortunately, I'll have to update my review. The food is still good, but it's super pricey now and the service takes abnormally long (~30 minutes waiting for sashimi. Realizing that I wasn't given wasabi and waiting for 10 minutes more to get wasabi).
---- Previous review: I've been here multiple times. The service is minimal which is what I like. No one bugs you every five minutes with "how are you doing so far?". The owner remembered me after the first time and even remembers what I order.
But the most important thing for me is the quality of sashimi. It was fresh every time. I'd prefer miso soup to be much less sophisticated than what they have, but that's fine.
The atmosphere is 3/5 because there is loud music blasting from TV. Even if I liked the music I think it's a bit too loud. So bring your own headphones I guess.
