I love this place! The food is consistently delicious and the servers are always helpful and fun. The menu is diverse, so there's something for everyone. It's comfortable, whether we sit at the bar or a table. We are moving, and I have to say that Yu-Or-Mi will be what I miss most!

Late lunch during Happy Hour before a show at Reynolds Hall. Small interior space was cute. Ordered the HH Chuhai in yuzu-lime, HH Mushroom Salad, and the Roulette Roll. Chuhai - fizzy, flavor too subtle to my palate. Salad - few forkfuls of mushrooms, very saucy, and, albeit good to eat, pricey at $11. Roulette Roll - Prettily made, nice balance of ingredients, tolerable heat, quite delicious, but not quite filling. Service - very friendly and attentive. Value - Not very whelmed by the Happy Hour choices I made. The roll was a decent value.

Our 2nd time here, equally as enjoyable as the first visit. Great traditional sushi and delicious, creative Raman/rice bowls. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner and drinks. Miriam was the bar tender and was helpful, fun and a great addition to the evening! Thank you-highly recommended!!

Some of the food was really good – we liked the miso soup and the asparagus with mushrooms. But we did not like the gyoza, they were cold and hard on the edges. The sashimi was decent.

Exceptional! Sushi is very fresh and they have some unique selections. I loved their use of truffle oil in their Specialty Sashimi and their No Rice rolls, but everything was so good! The Short Rib Ishiyaki is a must try. The ambiance is inviting and its the customer service is impeccable. This is truly a hidden gem in Las Vegas!

This was just our second visit to Taru, after first experiencing it about a month ago. We were so impressed then, that we had to come back soon, and this time we brought friends. Joon and his staff have created, in our opinion, the best sushi and Japanese restaurant in all of Vegas. The quality of the food is matched by the superb service and impeccably designed interior.

Best sushi we have had from NY to NJ to FLA found here in the desert at the new low key awesome spot Sake flight was a heavy hitter!!!! Smoked Toro worth every penny. Spicy cauliflower was amazing I'm never ordering edamame with out garlic sauce after our visit. To top it off our Server John was really polite, passionate about the food here and had some great local off the strip recommendations. By far the best hand rolls which were California and Alaska, so basic but the sushi rice was like none other than we had. !!!!!!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!

This was hands down the BEST sushi I've ever had in my life!! Our waiter Johnny was very knowledgeable and all of his suggestions were 100% on point!!! Please do yourself a favor and go here while you are in Vegas! It is worth the cab, Uber or Lyft! Plus it's nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the strip!

Excellent! Great staff, fresh fish and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was delicious! The Truffle Sashimi Trio is fantastic! My husband does not like sashimi. But, this dish won him over! Our dinner would have easy been $300 - $400 on the strip. We had 5 dishes, 1 large beer and 1 shared dessert for $134. I am super pleased and highly recommend!

I don't know how this place isn't more busy. The food quality is top-notch the service with some of the best I've ever had in Las Vegas great restaurant ambience it was a little warm in the restaurant but that's expected when it's 115° outside. Can't wait to go back and try some more things on the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a sushi bar, and I can't help but share my enthusiasm for this place. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. The fact that this restaurant is brand new makes it even more special, as it feels like a well-kept secret waiting to be discovered. Let's talk about the food—the star of the show. The sushi here is an absolute delight, with each piece boasting a freshness that's hard to come by. I had the privilege of trying their Smoked O-toro, and I must say, it was a culinary experience like no other. The presentation alone was stunning, as it arrived in a globe enveloped in hickory wood smoke. The rich flavors paired perfectly with the smoked soy sauce, leaving me craving more. Speaking of variety, the Sashimi Salad deserves a special mention. It's a generous portion filled with an assortment of fish that's simply unbeatable for the price. The combination of flavors and textures makes it a true standout on the menu. I also highly recommend trying the Spicy Cauliflower—a unique twist that adds a delightful kick to the meal. Now, let's talk about my personal favorite, the Chutoro roll. The combination of velvety chutoro and the expertly crafted roll created a taste sensation that I won't soon forget. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, demonstrating the chef's skill and dedication to their craft. In conclusion, this sushi bar is an absolute treasure waiting to be discovered. The warm hospitality (shoutout to our waiter John), exceptional food, and great prices make it a must-visit destination for sushi lovers. Whether you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience or simply looking to satisfy your cravings, this place has it all. I genuinely hope that more people get to experience the magic of this sushi bar, and I have no doubt that it will soon become a popular destination once the word gets out.
