If flavor were illegal, Sushi Hiro would be doing hard time.
We just left Sushi Hiro in Henderson and I’m convinced we experienced spiritual enlightenment disguised as dinner. Every single bite hit like it had something to prove. Not one weak link. Not one “meh.” Just straight culinary domination.
The 007 roll? Smooth, dangerous, and licensed to thrill. It showed up, handled business, and left no crumbs. The lobster roll? Absolutely disrespectful. Buttery. Rich. Criminally addictive. I would sign paperwork committing to it long term.
Service was flawless — attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it. The kind of staff that makes you feel like you’re the VIP without making it weird.
We didn’t eat dinner. We attended a seafood masterclass.
If you’re in Henderson and you’re not eating here, I’m not mad at you… just disappointed.

First off I wanna address the price. This isn’t your AYCE sushi restaurant. If that’s what you’re looking for go elsewhere. This place goes from mild to wild on their rolls, sashimi and nigiri. Every time I come it’s with a loaded wallet as I’m going to get O toro.

First time try and very pleased. Friendly staff concerned with your food experience. Menu offers vast variety of apps, entrees, sushi, pages of rolls….I had the crispy spicy tuna dish, Atlantic roll and ordered a side of screaming O sauce -freshly made and dipped everything in it -so good. Hubby had the blue fin sampler sashimi-so fresh and glistening, and one of the rolls. Iced green tea and shishito peppers finished off a perfect meal of fresh and delicious sushi, surrounded by attentive and friendly to staff. We’ll be back on a future visit.

It's the prices , rolls were alright . But being a local and trying a new spot , the prices for simple rolls at 12$+ is crazy . Servers were very nice , bottle selection was vast( mark up is still crazy ) . No real specials . Wouldn't go back , place was clean , everyone was nice .

Absolutely...a great Sunday afternoon experience. I sat at the sushi bar, and it had been a while since I enjoyed sushi. The summer heat, and distance delayed me from exploring sushi options, other than in a busy casino. This spot works! Great sushi, service, and environment. Only one other customer was at the bar, and she swears she practically lives at Sushi Hero.
