It's far better than any sushi spot in the middle of a mall has a right to be but it's pretty damn good.
Although they didn't have a single drink with boba in it when I went so I'm skeptical of how seriously they are taking the Asian part of this Asian fusion restaurant.

It was ok. We chose to eat here because they offer gluten free options and some of my family members need that. The food was meh. The sushi was bland.
The ambiance is fine, pretty loud. We had reservations and were seated at a table near the kitchen. Multiple waitstaff hit the back of my chair by accident because the space was so tight. The service was fine. I would not recommend it to a friend and I won’t be rushing back.
Dietary restrictions: They have some Gluten free options.

Admittedly, we ate dinner around midnight. We were immediately seated and had to wait for a bit before our server took our drink orders. The location didn't seem to be too busy, but we were seated near a thoroughfare for the servers (which will be somewhat relevant later). The server wasn't too friendly and took our drink orders. We both had soft drinks, which were delivered by a different server in highball glasses with a ton of ice. This server knocked one of the glasses over, spilling about a third of the drink and ice on the table. Thia sever was minimally apologetic and didn't immediately bring another drink to replace what was spilled. The staff was slow to refill the drinks despite being in a position for all to see we needed refills.
Onto the good stuff: the food made up for the shoddy service. My wife had the pork tonkatsu, and we shared the samba roll: El Topo, which was served warm, and I also ordered the Churrasco Rio Grande. I tried the broth and pork of the tonkatsu, and it was very tasty. I would've liked the broth to be a bit more pork forward, but it was present, and the pork pieces were tender and tasty. The El Topo is a definite must-have fusion dish. While it was unexpected as a warm dish, it was very light, flavourful and fresh. The sauces that accompanied churrasco plate provided an array of tasty options in addition to the delicious meats and beans which were tasty on their own.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I go back earlier in hopes the service crew was a bit more on their game. Yes.

A bit of a disappointment after having visited the one in Dubai. My chicken teriyaki was not what I expected and also the atmosphere is in no sense comparable to the one in Dubai. Staff however was friendly and the sushi nice.

Very noisy atmosphere, we can't hear each other talking. Shrimp tempura: just fried and tiny shrimp in industrial portion, really very fatty. No refinement in this usually exceptional dish served elsewhere in the world. The rest of the food is quite ordinary. We ate in Sushisamba in London, Dubai and Singapore and we had a great time but here in the USA it's really disappointing. Overwhelmed servers. It is certain that we will not come back.
Went here during Carnaval week, and got Caiprihana cocktails to start, along with Brazilian cheese bread. The drinks were great, served promptly, and there was live entertainment. Ordered a few sushi rolls that were great quality for the price, and service was attentive. There seemed to be menu options that would appeal to most people, with good quality food overall.

It was my first time to eat sashimi. There was no soy sauce on the table and I had to ask the waiter for it. It was very expensive. Even though it was expensive, it still didn’t taste good. It was so miserable.

Food is okay for me. A little exotic. Which is fine. But if you prefer standard options this isn't the place for you. One of our party ordered sushi and loved it. My wife and I ordered several different items and didn't particularly care for it.
The primary reason for the three-star review was because the waiter we had wasn't very friendly. Bordering on rude, actually. We asked him about some of the items and he acted as if he didn't have time to go into it. It was also difficult to get his attention when he wanted something extra, or even to to get the check.
Seems popular though.. I would suggest a reservation during busy times.

I had high expectations for SUSHISAMBA in Las Vegas, but unfortunately, my dining experience was quite disappointing.
While the atmosphere and service were absolutely top-notch — the staff was attentive, and the ambiance was vibrant and inviting — the food didn’t live up to the hype.
The sushi itself was a huge letdown. Many of the rolls were bland, lacking any distinct flavors, and some even had a rubbery texture, making them unpleasant to eat. I’ve had sushi in other places around Vegas at much more reasonable prices, with far better taste and more generous portions.
The menu also felt very limited, offering fewer options than expected for a place with such a reputation.
I came here hoping for a memorable lunch, but the food — the main reason for my visit — left me disappointed. Great service and ambiance can only go so far when the core of the experience, the food, doesn’t meet expectations.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return for this place again.

Disappointing Experience with Order Presentation and Service
My husband and I recently visited Sushi Samba dinner and ordered three different sushi plates. When our food arrived, we were surprised to see that all three plates were served on a single large plate, rather than separately as we had ordered. It felt a bit odd, especially since each sushi plate had its own unique preparation and presentation. We noticed that other tables, who were sharing, had their plates served individually on separate plates, which made us feel like our order was not handled the same way.
Our waiter was okay—he was friendly, but we only saw him once to ask if everything was fine, and that was when we had already finished our meal. My husband asked for a couple of cloth dinner napkins, but he only brought one, so we had to share. The waiter didn’t return until we asked for our check, which left us feeling a bit neglected. The place was busy, but still, the service could have been more attentive.
While the sushi itself was fresh and flavorful, the overall experience fell short due to the presentation and service. We would appreciate it if the restaurant could serve each dish separately as requested and pay closer attention to guests' needs during the meal

I usually write nice reviews and this isn’t going to be one of them. My experience at Sushi Samba tonight was disappointing and doesn’t come close to the ratings others are giving it. First if the restaurant is asking me if I’ve dined with them before and I say no, I would expect they’d use that information to explain the menu and the options. There’s a lot on there- grill stuff, sushi rolls, raw options- so a little explanation about something listed as Vegetable- Eggplant might be helpful.
I ordered the tempura green beans upon recommendation just to start. When the server came back, I ordered a glass of champagne. She went away again and came back to take the food order. I asked a few questions including how large a ribeye skewer was and got finger circles rather than a weight portion size or perhaps the info that there were 2 skewers with 3 pieces each which is what it ended up being would have been nice. She went away and eventually I called her back and inquired about the champagne that I hadn’t received. She then came back and gave me a happy hour menu - after I had already ordered- and said she put the chardonnay through under the happy hour price. (Champagne is not Chardonnay and not included in happy hour) But I don’t say anything because I figure if chardonnay comes I’ll just drink it. Still no drink. Eventually a server comes with tempura green beans and about 30 seconds later, the shrimp tempura roll followed by the ribeye skewer. So now as a solo diner, I have all 3 things I ordered even though I specifically didn’t order them all at the same time, and still no champagne before dinner. The first chunk of ribeye is large and so tough I consider that I’ll be chewing for 5 minutes as there was no knife for cutting. The corn was spread on the plate and not in a bowl and didn’t look anything like google photos. The shrimp tempura roll is shrimp in rice without any other sauce or filling and is quite mushy. At this point it’s pretty much time to eat fast since 2 of the 3 dishes involve tempura and aren’t going to last long once they cool. Finally the champagne arrives and it’s flat. I realize there’s just no way I can fix any of these problems with the meal because the waitress isn’t helpful. I did ask for a fork and first she forgot and then came back to say she would go get it and then did deliver the fork and knife which was necessary for cutting the meat. Also, why didn’t anyone inquire as to how the ribeye should be cooked? At this point I just want to get out of there so I don’t drink the flat champagne and I eat parts of the food. When I received the check it was true the waitress had put the champagne through as Chardonnay and removed the cost and pointed this out to me. At no point does she ask about the untouched glass of champagne or if it was OK. Another table ordered champagne and I could see the bubbles from across the room while mine sits flat and yellowy and not at all enticing. Now I know the saying is that you should tell the restaurant so they can fix it while you’re there. That’s usually what I do because that’s fair. But I had no faith that anything I said was going to be understood or fixed. You can’t start over so I can have the drink before the food once you’ve brought the food. And you’re just going to think I’m a difficult diner if I tell you that the champagne is flat after it’s delivered late and the meat is tough. You could cook me a new skewer I suppose but the moment is ruined and I just didn’t want to go through all of that and the waitress would have to check in a timely fashion about that- not once I’ve had the food in front of me for 15 minutes. I think the kitchen let the staff down by serving all 3 items at once and the bar let the servers down by sending flat champagne and the managers let the waitress down by not properly training on portion size or menu information or when to deliver a happy hour menu. Timing of service and poor food quality sum up my review. Maybe my experience is not common but I don’t know what I should have done to avoid these problems.

We used to come here a lot. The food was always great and the service was amazing. We decided to visit for new year's dinner. The waiter was very rude. He was also rushing us. My wife and myself were seated at a small table. I said we are ordering many dishes and if we can get a larger table. He said no, but we will pace the dishes so you always have room. Great! 10 minutes later, all 8 dishes arrive at the table. Sushi, cold, salads, hot plates... all together. We were in and out in 30 minutes for new years dinner. He also failed to explain what's in one of the main dishes and refused to do anything about it when it came to the table. We spoke to a manager who was nice and took off that one dish. Overall food quality went way down. I used to love this place. Never going back.
