I had nachos and a fruit drink. The dining area was clean and had lots of tables. The service was good and the food was also good. Nice place to eat and people watch =)

First time here. This place is overrated. Their carnesada tacos are 4 inches maybe smaller for $4.12 plus tax each. Taste is okay but I think it’s very expensive compare to other similar taco places that maybe even better. Won’t be back!

As others have pointed out, this place can be intimidating if it's your first visit. However, the tacos are absolutely fantastic. My only critique is the amount of plastic used. I was given a plastic to-go container for a dine-in order of french fries, which felt a bit ridiculous. But I get it: It's Vegas.

Had Lunch and it was good. Many options to choose from.. Almost too many because you want it all. We had asada quesadilla. It was not what we expected, it was with smaller corn tortillas and not melted like a usual quesadilla. However it was good. We ended up taking the top tortilla and grabbing the filling with it and made ctep tacos out of it,but it was surprisingly filling. I'm from out of town, but I'd stop again when we come back. We come often during the year from California. My son who lived here said the prices went up, but still reasonable. Overall worth it. Delicioso. Yo quiero tacos.

Absolutely delicious. This was a new experience for us, but loved ordering exactly what we wanted at the counters. Everything was so fresh. And they had nopales which I love but never really can get anywhere!
Great food! Try not to go solo since you will be limited on the type of meat you want to how many lines you want to stand in.
One thing I wish I knew beforehand was to have cash to tip. They are so nice, but I wasn’t able to leave a tip on my card.

If you haven’t been to Tacos El Gordo, give it a try. We came during lunch and I wish the San Diego locations were like this. Excellent service here, great location, roomy dining but the bathrooms do need to be monitored. Always excellent food and prices!
