Unreal tacos, friendly staff and service, ok atmosphere. Favorites were the lengua, tripe, and pork maw but they were all amazing. The speed in which they prepare was pretty amazing, and the condiments and salsas were very authentic. Best tacos I've ever had even when compared to Mexico!
Being from Texas and having worked in Mexico, I'm a street taco snob. I was happy to see upon arrival that they were cooking on Trompo's ( virticle rotisserie). I ordered two pork and two steak (asada) tacos. The pork were good with a little too much fat for my tastes. The steak unfortunately was pretty tough and a little dry. Maybe i caught them on a bad day but I'd rate these street tacos average. If in the area, I'd go back but wouldn't drive out of...
El Gordo never disappoints! Incredibly consistent between all locations I've visited and consistently amazing at that. The Adobada pork al pastor will leave you feeling like you can die happy, the only thing that makes it better is of course a squirt of lime (and maybe a few bottles of sangria soda) if you've never been it's a must try for sure, the ordering system may seem confusing at first but it's really quite simple you get in the line of whatever type...
