Awesome place. I got the $30 nigiri chef’s choice and is was a great experience (pic shows 11 pieces, but includes 18). The Chef even spoiled me with some Otoro and Uni. Seems like a really nice guy, and the server was great too, and most importantly, the fish was quality. Highly recommend, I’ll be back

I don't remember what all the dishes are called here as it has been a few weeks since I took the photos, but I can tell you the taste of everything here was insanely good.
This is definitely the best ramen broth in Vegas. The tonkatsu was creamy and changed my world thinking about what I thought was good ramen.
The sushi is all great too. The chef here is definitely a master of his craft.
Highly, highly recommend. One of the best spots in Vegas. Very limited seating. So, try to go at a time that isn't going to be busy if you are worried about a wait.

Takumi Izakaya is by far the most scrumptious Japanese food in the city of Las Vegas! When you walk in you immediately have a homey style such as home cooking of Japanese food! Was Quidditch by the owner/chef and the waiter! Customer service was very attentive very knowledgeable of each menu item!All the food that was present on the table tasted fresh with a reasonable price to it. Each item had its own unique flair such as the curry, sushi, salads, and eel box. When we walked in,it was packed. This tells us that this restaurant, even when we came late still has a demand which tells you that the food here is authentic and gold. You really feel like you went to someone’s house town in Japan and probably the best food the country has to offer! Definitely will be going to this place to eat probably the best Japanese food that is authentic!

A hidden gem. My wife and a friend got unadon, salmon cheek, sweet shrimp sashimi (comes with fried heads), sweet mussels, and okonomiyaki. All very good quality, fresh, and the service was great.

I have to say this was one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was this the highest quality fish available and we had the toro and the sushi and sashimi and a variety of other wonderful things. We were going to leave but Chef graciously had made us some more special tuna sushi surprises and even kind enough to provide us with a bottle of Sake for desert! We were blown away and felt so welcomed! Of course we will be back!! Forget the strip THIS is the place for great authentic Japanese cuisine !
Mr. Izakaya is very funny! It's best to eat next with him while he works. Make sure to buy him a glass of wine! Awsome atmosphere, which gives it a Magna comic feeling after a long day of work!
