One of the best Indian restaurant on the strip. We visited this place two times. One for dinner and for another lunch buffet. Buffet was really good but with limited option. Would recommend this place.

My wife and I had the lunch buffet there. Most of the dishes were decent with reasonable concentrations of spice designed for subcontinental palates. This makes business sense since almost all customers are from the Indian subcontinent. Its popularity stems from the fact that there are not too many Indian cuisine options in LV that come that cheap. The place however looks a bit rundown, specially in a backdrop of the glitzy Vegas. Anyway, it was a welcome break, for my wife in particular, since she is a vegetarian. I would have definitely given it a "4"star but I wont because I found the behavior of the staff rather curt and to an extent, unfriendly A Sikh gentleman who is possibly the owner or the manger, does not even bother to smile on meeting his customers. A young lady, who seemed to be taking care of stuff, litereally banged down a glass of Lassi on the table. All this looks particularly out of place, specially in Vegas. I am sure that the folks at Tamba will continue to do good business but they really need to spruce up their demeanor.

For me, Tamba is the best Indian food in Vegas. I have been here 7 or 8 years in a row except for the last 2 years due to COVID. I come to Vegas for trade shows. After a week of rich food, and expensive dinners, some low-key and reasonably priced Indian always hits the spot. Tamba has all the standard Indian fare. The Korma is better than average. I have been happy with the Chana Masala, the naan, and everything on the appetizer menu. Tamba's location is not fancy. It is on the strip (which is a big plus) in a low-rent strip mall. Looks can be deceiving and the inside is nice enough. The staff is super friendly and always have taken great care of me. I will continue to come to Tamba on every trip I make to Vegas. I am always down for Indian food and always down for Tamba. Two thumbs up.

The worst experience in whole of our 22 days trip to America . They won’t let u sit even if more than half of your family members present . The person on the gate asked us to wait outside till all 8 of us came , ( we were waiting for some of our family members as they were in the other car ) They take hell lot of a time to take the order and then another hell of a time to get the order to the table . Even after that we received wrong item and then when asked to get more breads because they took another 15 mins to change the order , the server blatantly refused saying that now they can’t take orders. Extreme attitude !!!! Simply worthless!!!

Great place if you wanna just eat pay and don't expect any service great ambiance reasonable food zero service . We ate here a few weeks ago they were friendly till we sat down but once seated they didn't know we were there til we asked for the check we have never felt so ignored in a restaurant before hence even one star is one too many

The Ashoka's feast was very disappointing. At $26.00 , the serving sizes were small and a disgrace to King Ashoka. Now that I have got that out of my system, the vegetable Briyani and Lamb Korma were both very good. At more than $90 for two, I though the food was over priced - probably because of the over priced & disappointing Ashok's Feast - it's no feast!

This restaurant has not changed much in the last few years. The ambiance is average. The service at least of our waiter was good. We ordered the buddha feast and chicken tikka masala. We ordered spicy. Unfortunately the food was very bland. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter he immediately took away the chicken and brought it back after a few minutes. It tasted the same. The chicken wasn’t tender enough. The buddha feast was better but as mentioned bland.

Did not have table for the size we reserved. After I expressed my disappointment, the staff told me that I was pissing him off for complaining. I could not believe that a waiter is telling me this In front of the restaurant manager. Will never come here again!!!

It's a nice Indian place. A lot of seating. They have ala Carte and lunch/dinner veg/non veg meals. We took thali meals which had Malai kofta, dal, saag paneer, raita, rice, gajar halwa and tandoori roti. Non-veg thali had chicken Tikka, etc. There was samosa as an appetizer. One thali is enough for one adult. The food was very tasty. I like the fact that they give salad, pickle on the side which is complimentary. Gajar halwa was average but overall food was flavorful and the restaurant had a good vibe. So if you're in Vegas and missing Indian food I would recommend this place to a friend.

Ambience, food and staff was excellent here! Great variety too. The highlight was meeting our excellent server Lucinda, such a beautiful heart, runs around like an athlete making sure every table is taken care of, has wonderful stories and makes everyone feel important and appreciated! Thank you Lucinda! Keep rocking it girl!

One of the most fabulous Indian food you get outside India. Great variety in menu, and "superb" quality. Quite a healthy option, much needed during busy touring times in Nevada. The "freshness" of the food is unparalleled and still makes us wonder how the meals are so perfect there - we realized that the credit goes to the owner Rishi and the staff - they are the warmest, kindest people. So for a good ambience, Indian cultural environment and an eclectic menu, make sure to stop at this place if you are in Nevada, SoCal, Arizona and especially visiting this part of the country from abroad. In the photo, our son thought his new BFF, the owner was the new Captain America ever since Marvel announced that Steve Rogers is retiring (well... until he saw Falcon and the Winter Soldier) - so now he insists that Rishi is the new Iron Man and took a promise from us to specially make yearly trips Vegas to come to Tamba. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to leave such a lasting impression on our child and giving him all the love. If he ever needs convincing of something, we still remind him that if you don't do ..... then Rishi uncle / Iron Man will be upset and he immediately gives in because he can't let his idol down.

Starter was really good but main course was not up to the mark. They serve okra with stem, it was unpleasant to eat. Other than starter food not so great.
