Fun place but wildly expensive, you pour and pay for your own beer. Cheapest pint is about $10 for 16oz of modelo. Bavarian pretzel was average size with cheese and mustard for $16.
Also they charged me twice and the second pending charge has not dropped yet, this was on the 17th. Trivia was fun though.
Beautiful spot for wide selection of beer with beautiful views and wonderful service
Convenient location in SW Las Vegas, near 215 and Buffalo. Lots of ample parking. Well-lit and walkable area. Inside, the restaurant is spacious, with seating both indoors and outside (with misters). So many great beer selections; something for everyone, including fruity beers that are a good substitute for a soda lover, like me. Food is tasty and complimentary to the beers. I really enjoy the fries and the buffalo wings. Service is friendly and someone is always available to lend a helping hand. The entire space, including restrooms, is clean too.
Yummy food & so many taps to try
Vance is awesome and he deserves a raise. He is very knowledgeable, hospitable and friendly. Great drinks and food.
Always a great time when I’m out with my girls! We love coming during happy hour—there’s always a great selection of beer and cider on tap. The food is delicious, and you only pay for what you drink, which is a nice touch. Matt always checks in on us to make sure we’re taken care of—such great service! They even have board games available, or you can bring your own, which makes it even more fun. Whether it’s a girls’ night, guys’ night, or date night, this place is a go-to spot!
Overall the vibe & service were top notch. The food was good too. However, while I enjoyed trying many beers... the beers that happened to be on draft today were mostly not that impressive. Maybe my first time was just on an off time for beer selection.
Went to trivia tonight and have to give a huge shoutout to the guy running the front. He was handling everything like a pro—taking orders, delivering food, cleaning up, and making sure everyone had what they needed. He was everywhere at once and absolutely crushing it! We left something there and he answered the phone after hours and waited for us to come retrieve our item. Great guy, would go back just to support him but the food and atmosphere is great as well!!
Great selection of beer. Will return again and again!

Food is good don't get me wrong but damn they are overcharging for some basic food. Pizza cost 20 dollars for some basic little pizza nothing special
Fish and chips with 3 little dorito sized fishes with like half a portion of fries for 20 dollars. They out here scamming people with their prices.
Additionally we went on a Tuesday which was apparently trivia night and the person in charge was like 30 minutes late!! They must have woken up late or something. At least the place gave us some happy hour with some good beer.
The beer during happy hour is a good price and is delicious. I just think the food is over priced and the person in charge of trivia night was late which was disappointing.

Taps and Barrel is a pretty unique location that isn't to common in Las Vegas, as far as I'm concerned. Once you arrive you go straight to the front and get a tap card. This tap card is attached to your card and you can go to any of the taps they have to fill any beer you like.
They have multiple types of cups which are good for specific beers. But if you aren't too knowledgeable about it, just pick a cup that you think is cool. From there go down and just choose your beer. There's many selections, and you can pretty much try them all with just a tap of a card.
One thing that is actually pretty cool is that they have a sake tap, usually more to the right. I like getting a cup of that plus like a lighter beer and you're good to go.
Food wise they have a really good charcuterie. It's a big pretzel along side with meats and cheeses. The mustard is really good and the brie/fig combo is also great too.
The environment is really chill as you can sit anywhere you'd like, including a couple of couches which is pretty comfortable. We brought our dog a few times so we had to sit outside, but the outside is pretty spacious as well.
When you're done, all you have to do is drop your tap card in a tip bucket which indicates how much you'd like to tip. After that you're all done!

As EVERYTHING in Vegas, this place was overpriced for what it was- especially the drinks. It was busy but we got sat. We ordered our drinks and the food came before we even for them. I got the Philly cheesesteak which was very good. I ate it with a fork and knife since the meat was flowing out of it. Definitely what I needed before a long night of drinking! My fiance got the tap burger which was just okay. He’s a huge burger fan so for him to say it wasn’t great says a lot. The cheese on it wasn’t fully melted and the flavor was bland.

Definitely check this business out if you like beer, kombucha, food and choices. Loved that I could try different beers or just have some of my usual ones. The food choices are many. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere also.

The food here is overpriced and mid at best. Avoid the food at all costs
