Incredibly fresh sushi and sashimi. Wife and I had a great meal here. The service was excellent, the food was top notch, and the ambiance/decor was excellent! We will be back soon ?

Good service and food, though a bit pricy and the portions, especially for the sashimi, are small.

This place feels like an expensive strip/level sushi spot, but without the crazy price tag. The vibe is absolutely spot-on for a celebratory night out, especially one with the stakes as high as a birthday treat (in this case, it was my girlfriend's bday) The Otoro was a revelation. Honestly, it's like nothing else I've tried in Vegas, giving those authentic Japanese spots a run for their money. The flavor, the texture--just unparalleled. Chicken Karaage - know how some places just drown the chicken in breading, and it's all crunch, no substance? Not the case here. It was perfectly balanced, super juicy on the inside, and the sauce was phenomenal. The Jumbo Scallop Nigiri was another showstopper. Not kidding, it was probably one of the largest scallops I've laid eyes on in recent memory. And taste is Just as impressive as its size. But let's not forget about the Drunken Black Mussel, Albacore Nigiri, and Yellowtail Belly Nigiri. Each dish scored a solid 5 in my book, no question about it. And shoutout to John, our waiter. His service was just fantastic. Made the whole experience even better. In a nutshell, this place is a winner. From the ambiance that sets the right mood, to the divine sushi that can easily hold its own against international standards, and service that makes you feel like royalty. For a special occasion or just because, it's a must-visit.

My man had took me here for Valentines. Phenomenal service! Do not judge the presentation because the fish here is the best I've had in Vegas!!!!! My man and I usually order O Toro, Hamachi, and Salmon Nigiris. Oh my god!!!!!!! It just melts in your mouth! You can't beat the price.

We stumbled across here after driving around. This place is a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated outside and inside. So impressed. And service was on point. We love the quality of everything's We ordered Sake and Margarita. Both amazing. . We got. Selections is sushi and kimono to. Loved everything. Clam miso was perfection. Not salty like most places. We will be back for sure.

Perfect for my group of 9! We went for my friend's bachelorette party and the service was wonderful, the sushi was fresh, and everyone loved the espresso martinis. I particularly loved the salmon carpaccio.

Very pleasant decor: great for a date night. Food quality varies. Our favorites: - chef's combo sashimi 30pc. Kanpachi had the best texture. - Kumamoto oysters were very fresh and sweet. (They usually have Kuushii oysters) Our least favorites: - Uni pasta. Heavy butter/cheese taste overtook any sea urchin there may have been there. - Orange Salmon. Theoretically, the combo should go well, but perhaps the salmon was not fatty enough or the orange was not in season, so the end result was underwhelming. Overall a good dining experience.

TARU is an amazing spot. Welcoming & chill vibe, friendly & attentive service (Thank You Jon & EJ), great beer list, and a fresh & delicious menu. I highly recommend TARU.

I give Taru 3 stars...and the misleading reviewers 0 stars....so unfortunately I have to downgrade my review to compensate. I booked a large family dinner here (sister in from NY) based on the reviews alone. With 8 people We ordered an extensive selection of dishes and sushi. From choppy service to poorly cut fish to protein quality to seasoning issues to basic presentations....this was not a bad meal but felt amateurish and was under no circumstances by any reasonable measure capable of 5 stars.

Came here for a last minute dinner with my friend. The decor is very nice...not too modern but not cluttered looking either. The dining room is good sized with a sushi bar and various tables. The food was fantastic. We had a couple rolls and some sushi. Everything was really fresh and tasted great. I really liked the sushi and the Giesha rice-free roll. The drinks were good. My friend had a margarita and I had a berry martini thing. Mine was very sweet with a slightly medicinal taste...reminded me of koolaid and cherry cough syrup which sounds weird, but it worked! Overall I highly recommend.

Kind and attentive staff. Food and sushi were very mediocre. The fish quality was poor but not inedible.
