My first visit here and noticed they’re offering belacan (shrimp paste) shrimp. As a Malaysian, I’ve gotta get that. Unfortunately, the dish wasn’t what I was hoping for, at least it wasn’t the Malaysian version of the belacan flavor. Also, some dishes were pretty starchy. Other than that, flavors are great and servers were attentive.

The fried rice wasn't good, only 2 shrimps and overcooked red pork or may be old ones and dried!

This place is delicious. I regret not taking pictures because I expected it just to be another mediocre Chinese restaurant. Every dish was great; highlights being their duck, crispy pork, beef chow fun, taiwan style chicken. Our server was this jovial lady who kept cracking jokes. Had a great time and a great meal. We will be back...often...

Monday 6 pm. Very busy with most tables full but we had reservations and were seated promptly. The environment was clean and friendly but very noisy with loud conversations from other guests. Servers were friendly and attentive. Food was served promptly. We had walnut shrimp, orange chicken and spam fried rice. The rice and shrimp were delicious, the chicken was a bit dry. Overall a good experience, recommend. Note that parking is a bit limited.

Cantonese place with clean environment, sea bass pot with meat and tofu is tasty but salty, also ordered fried pig feet and free beans. $80 excluding tips. Note: has nothing to do with Nicholas

Great Cantonese restaurant. Food portion was generous, though the live seafood was a bit expensive.

Ordered pick up from here because Rainbow Kitchen happened to be closed today. Ordered dry scallop fried rice - rice was clumpy, Szechuan eggplant and fish fillet in black beans sauce - both drowning in oil and lacking flavor. Paid way too much money to have bland food. $66 for 3 items was quite a rip off.

My kids wanted egg drop soup. We ordered egg flower soup, house fried rice and chow fun.
Service wasn't great, had to ask for everything including water refills, silverware and condiments.
All the food was so bland. Had to add spice or soy to it all so it has a taste. The egg flower soup has tomatoes in it, weird and not tasty.
My kids did not enjoy the food.
With tip I spent over $55 for our 3 plain dishes. The price was too much for the taste of the food. The quantity was great however who wants more of a tasteless thing.
I must say they had a great variety of dishes and looking at the surrounding tables they look delicious. I didn't order them because they were so expensive an average of 23 to $27 per dish. I believe they are for sharing but even still. I wondered if all of them just looked good and didn't taste good so I won't know because I probably won't return.

We made reservations. When we arrived, no one came to seat us, and after 10 minutes, we were able to stop someone and let them know we were there. We were the only people in the lobby at the time. We requested not to be seated directly in front of the open door as it was very cold they were not happy about this, and you could tell by their demeanor they didn’t want to sit us at one of the bigger tables of which seven were there and seven were empty. When we were finally seated after playing musical plates with the waitress, we were waiting for our menus. 10 minutes later, we were still waiting for our menus. Three other tables had been filled during that time and they all had menus. Finally, I tried to go up to get somebody to get us menus, but there was no one around fortunately, I found the menus and brought them to my table. By the time I returned them to my table, I found a gentleman that was behind the bar, and I told him that we had been waiting and waiting, and that no waitress had approached us. The moment I got back to my table, the waitress that he spoke to came over and asked us what we wanted to eat, and I said well, I haven’t even opened the menu yet But I would like beverage. I ordered my beverage, but she did not ask one other person at the table if they wanted anything to drink and told us to call her over when we were ready to order. This was difficult to do because she was not around after 12 minutes I’d passed. We finally managed to wave our arms in the air. And she noticed us. We tried to ask her questions, but she could not comprehend what we were asking, and Gave Bizarre answers. We finally ordered our food. We had ordered appetizers, potstickers, egg rolls, and soup. Our main dishes arrived Over a period of 10 minutes. After we got our main dishes, I got my beverage. We were never asked what other beverages were wanted. We were not asked if we needed forks. They just dumped the food and left as we finished our main dishes. We received the appetizers. Then we received the soup at the end of our meal they needed to be called over to the table each and every time they came I have never had service that was as ridiculously horrendous as this. If I would’ve had two pennies to tip them, I would have, but since I didn’t, I didn’t tip at all

A small restaurant but I found the food tasty. We went on Christmas Eve and it was very busy, so we had to book.

I would not recommend visiting this restaurant for dinner on a holiday. Even at 5:30 PM, it was already packed, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Despite the understandable challenges of a holiday crowd, the service fell far below expectations. We waited 30 minutes to be seated (which is a totally acceptable amount of time to wait to be seated) but then over an hour with no food served to us at all.
While I recognize the possibility of short staffing and don’t entirely fault the restaurant for the chaos, the overall experience left much to be desired. The atmosphere was overwhelming—a loud cacophony of ringing phones and overlapping conversations, making it hard to enjoy the wait. What was especially disappointing was seeing a party seated 45 minutes after us receive their food well before we did, with no explanation from our waiter, who hadn’t checked on us for over an hour.
When we finally flagged the waiter for an update on our order, we were told that our ticket had been lost. To make matters worse, we were then informed that they had run out of Peking duck—a dish we specifically asked about upon arrival and were assured was available. After waiting so long, this was a slap in the face, adding insult to injury. We left without our meals and went to another nearby restaurant for dinner.
I’ve learned my lesson: if you’re in a rush or value timely service, this is not the place to visit on a holiday. It might be worth trying during off-hours or on a quieter day, but based on this experience, I can’t recommend it for any time-sensitive plans.

Authentic Chinese food, the shrimps are very fresh, the German pork knuckles are good, and the business is very good. It is said that reservations for 4 people are not accepted.
