We decided to give this place a try and was absolutely amazed by the exceptional quality of the food. We sampled a variety of dishes, ranging from the Houston sandwich to the crispy Fried Okra, and even a sandwich reminiscent of the famous Philly cheesesteak. Each dish we tried was thoroughly enjoyable, leaving us eager to return. Our next visit will include our beloved family and friends, as we are confident they will also appreciate this hidden gem.

Came in here a couple months ago and the food here is pretty good. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Since my visit I’ve noticed the place has become a popular spot. it’s in a good location. So sad to see them close they had some good bbq sandwiches and huge portions too.

“Temporarily” closed on Google, but door sign says otherwise, begging for yelp reviews to reopen.Pretty suspicious in my opinion.

I love the food at Texas Meltz, unfortunately I went there today and they had closed , everything about this place is a complete joy! Amazing food and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I started coming soon after they had opened, a few months later the prices went up, but I was happy paying the price for the outstanding food and service. I only wished that they were open later. They close at 7pm and I eat a little later than that. I hope they reopen soon because they are the best in town!

I heard great reviews on Yelp and wanted to try this place for quite sometime. I ordered a Dallas sandwich since I love brisket. And it was very good. I would like to be back and try something else.

Onion string were tough, chewy undercooked. At least most of them, especially right on top. Some below were done well. Looking for place that serves a good plate of strings, hunt continues... Would maybe come back to try their Q, seemed popular

I've grabbed lunch here a few times and have always been happy. The sandwiches I've tried have been delicious and the portions are very generous, you won't leave unsatisfied.

Food and meat were insane. Talk about quality and service. All the meats were extremely tender and juicy with plenty of flavor. They also had a ton of different BBQ sauces which were to die for. On top of that the lady who took our or was so sweet and charming.

First time coming here, THE BRISKET AND MAC AND CHEESE ARE SO GOOD. The brisket is so tender, the closest thing I’ve had here since living in Texas! The bbq sauce was good too. Everything was beautifully flavored. I had to order more to go because it was that good. Will be coming here again :)

I have been on a quest to find the rollin smoke best brisket sandwich in Las Vegas for the past 2 to 3 months. It hasn’t been an easy task because the hours that barbecue restaurants keep and the fact that I don’t eat a lot of red meat but I’m determined to be able to compare Las Vegas brisket Geoo, Texas brisket, which I am going to spend two weeks at the end of the month in Houston why I started this quest several months ago the best brisket I’ve ever had is in Dallas at a place called slow bone. We waited a half an hour at 11 AM to have the luscious meat and it was worth every bite. I was just sorry I didn’t get more no one has compared, but Texas mounts wasn’t bad I don’t eat cheese so I can’t speak to the melts but the brisket was tender. The brisket was flavorful. The brisket was delicious. I loved the bread, Texas toast , and for that and giving it five stars, the young man behind the counter was really nice and great customer service skills. He absolutely told me exactly how the sandwich was going to come how long it was going to take gave me all the information I could possibly need or want without really having to use pressure or Convince him to give it to me. I’d like that he was just friendly. I’ve been to John Mulls, I’ve been to Lucille‘s, famous Dave’s, soul belly. I’m telling you the Texas Meltz is very good. This brisket is really good. I have a few more to try. I won’t name them as of yet just really two more that could possibly be in contention.
