My family's favorite Thai restaurant in town since my parents had their first date here. One of the owners, Kitty, used to carry my brother and I around while she took orders so our parents could eat. As kids we would play the xylophone in the middle of the restaurant and spent a lot of time in the old play room they used to have in the late 90s, early 2000s. Glad I was able to take my future wife there on our first date as well. The best food, many fond memories, so sad to see it closed down.

Three of us went for lunch. They have a lunch menu with about 10 different meals for $8.95, and they give you a lot of food, including a small soup, egg roll, and salad. I had the curry chicken which was very good. You can tell them how spicy you want your meal, between 1 to 10. The service was rapid. We were in and out in 40 minutes. The only reason I didn't give a five star is because of the music that was playing in the background. It wasn't loud but it was annoying.

We had the crab fried rice, green curry, papaya salad, larb na, tom yum soup. All were enjoyably flavorful and mild as we had requested.Just a few minor comments: the portion on the larb na seemed like it was halved. The salt level on the crab fried rice was a bit too much. The major complaint is with the fact that they have an automatic service charge for 18% added to the bill and it is post-tax at that. I asked about that and the waitress only confirmed and giggled it off as fact (to be fair, she was the giggly type) and dismissed our question. As unexpected as that was, we will unlikely return - there are many good restaurants in the area that presumably do not automatically charge a 18% tip. Such is usually a customer-assessed amount, is it not?In fact, tip should be a construct done away with. The cost of food should cover services. I mean, what about workers who recover shopping carts or techs who fix our cars? Do we tip because servers put the food that we order on the table in a timely fashion? Isn't that what restaurants do? Serve customers? Or are we tipping because restaurant owners do not pay their employees a decent wage?Four stars for the food.Three stars for the auto-tip and for calculating it post-tax.

You will need to try it for yourself. I would not recommend here nor will I be back. Papaya salad texture tasted old, soft, soggy. I have eaten in many Thai restaurants and never had soggy papaya salad. I told two of the waitress that I did not like it (see pictures) they both did a smile and a giggle and still charged me. Tom Kah- taste was average, they forgot the mushrooms Calamari was ok, served with sweet chili Parking- ok amount but full due to the other restaurants/stores in this strip mall. Inside: large, family clean Service: none personal but it was ok. Greeted and seated quickly, that was nice. There are many other Thai restaurants with great food and great service.

With inflation and Las Vegas being already expensive wanted a good and filling meal at a normal price. My partner has been coming here for years. We stopped here for dinner before a show at the Rio. Good quality Thai dinner. Ordered the pad thai and Curry. Did not disappoint.

A block from The Palms. Very fresh food, authentic Thai flavors. While I have been a steady customer of Lotus of Siam, I rate the food here as highly. The restaurant is squeaky clean and the decorations are as tasteful as Lotus. Felt like I was in Changmai. This is really good if you love Thai food. I will make this a regular stop in Las Vegas.

Typically I like this place but today I'm irritated. Is there a rice shortage? Look at the pic. It's not equally portioned. I ordered yellow curry and they only gave me an extra small portion of rice to eat with it. I asked for more rice and was told it will be an extra charge. The server told me the rice provided was enough. Like wtf!

I ordered to go once on yelp, the yellow chicken curry spicy level 5/5 was excellent. I am a potato gal and they gave enough of them with the strips of chicken breast. It was a stealer when ordering the lunch meal deal, under $10 for the dish plus a side salad, veggie eggroll, and a small rice broth soup. It's a great price for the meal. Plus it was still steamy hot when I open it to eat after almost half an hour. It was satisfying take out. I went in to dine in today--ordered spicy basil chicken level spicy 10/10. It was delicious. Was not spicy but it has a kick to the dish. Enough spices and seasonal, not oversalted. I would said it was a spectacular lunch, again--for under $10. It is a great deal. I would like to try the fried banana with vanilla ice cream, but the waitress had already printed out my receipt already and I felt rushed even though it was not busy. She even took my plate away when I literally just have my last bite. She did asked if she can take the plate away, I just place my small bowl of soup on top of the plate and handed it to her. All with my mouth full. It was a nice quiet dining. Overall, it was nice. I would like to come back here to try those fried banana vanilla ice cream, maybe when I bring my husband with me. He would love the yellow chicken curry.

People of color don't come here!!! The moment I came in I was ignored by the staff...they refused to take my order and I had to storm to the back after waiting for 20mins and yelled "IS SOMEONE GONNA TAKE MY ORDER" in order to get the staffs attention and then the waitress with an attitude said "yes what you want" I gave her my order and incomes a white couple who the waitress immediately seats...I waited 40+ for my order and she handed it over with an attitude...when I asked to speak to the owner she refused!!! Took everything in me not to go off!!! Avoid this place people...there are plenty of great Thai places in the area...happy to serve people

My absolute favorite Thai food spot. Favorites are the Tom yum soup, the chicken satay, the pad woon sen, and pretty much anything I've ever gotten lol. Highly recommend!

The Tom Kha soup was too sour to be palatable. The Pad Thai had 2 shrimp and 3 thin slices of chicken with a TON of noodles. Lame food experience for $25
