Thai Spoon Las Vegas

I’ve been a regular supporter of restaurants and always tip generously (20% or more) when dining in, because I value good service. However, tipping for takeout has gotten out of control.

I placed a takeout order today and paid online. When I arrived, I was put in an uncomfortable situation my receipt was printed with “suggested tips,” and the staff member pointed at it and said “these are the suggested tips”, essentially pressuring me to tip. I don’t think that’s fair. Takeout doesn’t involve table service, and simply picking up an order shouldn’t come with the expectation of an extra charge.

I believe ordering takeout is already supporting the business, and customers should be thanked, not pressured. Making people feel guilty or forced into tipping is not okay.

Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste, and it will be the last time I order from here.

We saw reviews and wanted to try Thai Spoon out. We had the best Thai experience we’ve had in months. The chicken Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, the flavors bright and authentic, and the service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Kao Soi, which was off the hook! Amazing flavors and a large serving. I thought I was back in Chiang Mai at my favorite Kao Soi place. We’ll definitely be back for more.

Our first meal here was from lunch specials menu. Orange chicken and an orange tofu. My husband is celiac and vegan. The decor is cute, clean and I appreciate how careful they are with special needs of celiac. Their version of orange chicken wasn't for me and my husband didn't enjoy the orange tofu either. Might be the same sauce. We do plan on giving it one more chance at a later date but will order something different. We enjoy Thai food and this place is close to home.

So delicious! Food came out quickly and tasted like authentic Thai food, just what I was craving. The space was very clean and the staff was really friendly and attentive. Would come again.

My favorite Thai place. The hotpot tum yum and pad Thai are my favorite. I'm allergic to coconut so I can't eat much, however to they have many options that are safe to eat .

Food is delicious! My family and I have dined in and done delivery. Restaurant is clean and nice atmosphere. Anything you get is great! My 8yo and 11yo love it, they are always asking to go. Thai tea is soo good too! They have a lot of vegan options as well. If you do delivery, they always pack everything well so nothing spills.

Amazing Thai food! I have eaten a lot of Thai food, it’s my favorite cuisine, and I think this restaurant is now my favorite. The Crab Rangoon was soooo good! I had Green Curry with Chicken and my husband had the Shrimp Pad Thai. We both agreed they were exceptional! The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. I can’t say enough good things about Thai Spoon! We will definitely be back!

We're obsessed with this place, we've been here several times now and everything we've had has been 10/10 delicious! Friendly, quick, good prices, our new fave Thai place. In particular some faves have been the khao soi, wings and mango sticky rice!

My first time here I went on my lunch break I really enjoyed the food an love the portion size they give it was enough to take home. The staff were very polite and nice . They made sure everything was good with me and the atmosphere is so relaxing & casual I will definitely recommend if you looking good thai food in this area

The food was terrific. The Waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant.
