As long as you buy the chicken and beef, you will be all right. Just dont ask for the "fresh turkey" they promised me it wasn't frozen. When they handed me the box, it had ice on the bottom. I asked the guy behind the counter one more time. "Is or was this frozen?" he assured me it wasn't. When I got home, I started to prep the turkey. If you're in search of a local butcher known for high-quality cuts, this neighborhood gem is worth a visit. They offer a wide variety of meats, including Wagyu beef and dry-aged options. Their sausage selection is impressive as well; I highly recommend trying the cheeseburger sausage. Additionally, they have a deli that serves up cold cut sandwiches, which are substantial and satisfying meals in their own right.
Always a great experience at The Butcher Block. Freshly cut meats and great prices. I love the tumbled bourbon ribeyes, the arrogant bastard marinated pork chops and the house made sausages. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
