This place is a must-visit! So unassuming but the interiors are stunning. We came for drinks before dinner and Catalina took great care of us. She has wonderful energy behind the bar! Even the cool guy working the door was so kind.Come for happy hour pricing!!Will reco this place on my blog for sure. Be sure to check out the bathroom decor. ;)

The drinks were impeccable and the atmosphere was so fun we had live music this night, and we got our drinks in a timely manner that made us feel seen, the drinks were strong and fun. We want to go back to try their food for sure!

've heard of this place for awhile but never had a chance to drop by. I was already in Chinatown for lunch and happen to arrive here just before happy hour started at 4pm. Yayyyy! It's from 4-7pm. And it just so happen there were two seats left at the bar. Score again! If you want to sit at the booth, those are by reservations only. Otherwise you'll be standing around. We tried 5 drinks from the happy hour menu. They were each $8. Reasonable price and drinks were tasty! Bartender lady was kind to us. I'm already misusing the Pineapple dole whip drink. Ambiance was chill island vibe. Oh and you can add flame to any drinks for additional $1. I shall return the next time I'm in Fanulous Las Vegas!

Summary for the busy executive: Do you like tourists? Expensive tropical drinks? Shrunken heads? Phalluses? Then this place is for you. But make a reservation before showing up. Full review: As a Las Vegas local, I have heard about the Golden Tiki for years. I finally managed to check it out with my wife. We went on a Sunday evening, thinking that it might be quiet. We were wrong. It was filled with people who had come for a shrunken head ceremony. Yes, a shrunken head ceremony. But fear not; no human sacrifice takes place here. The bar is decorated with model shrunken heads of famous people, who get honored in a ceremony on the bar's stage. On the night that I visited, there was some B-list celebrity: a former MTV Veejay whose name I didn't catch. He was famous enough to draw a crowd, and the area around the stage was pretty packed. The bar itself is elaborately decorated in Tiki themed ways. There is a separate grotto room that looks like a ship's interior, lined with benches and small tables; very appealing. Twinkling stars dot the fake night sky on the ceiling. There are Tiki gods and statues everywhere. And there are phalluses--lots and lots of phalluses, including full-frontal nude photographs of male pornography stars and sex workers, tucked into little nooks and crannies of the space. An elaborate stained-glass decoration of an erupting volcano sits behind the bar, with obvious (and tacky) euphemistic symbolism. If you're squeamish about such things, then you might stay away from the Golden Tiki. When we saw how packed the place was, we were not too shocked that seating was limited. The bar is mostly reserved for people playing video poker, which is always annoying (but par for the course in Vegas), and it was totally full. Every other table and seat in the bar had a "reserved" sign on it. (Yes, this is a bar that takes reservations. Bizarre, but apparently required if you want to sit when it's crowded.) So we ordered our drinks and stood around for a while. When we got tired, we decided to risk it, and we sat at a table. The front-door hostess promptly ejected us from the table; she was polite about it, but she offered no alternative places for us to sit, despite the fact that nearly every table in the place was empty. So we resumed standing. Drinks were exactly as you would expect for such a place. The Golden Tiki specializes in rum-based tropical cocktails. The bar serves Dole Whip, which is a nice novelty. So I ordered a gigantic fruity drink: a Viking Tiki Negroni, which wasn't a negroni at all; it had cachaça and mead and other stuff over a huge amount of pineapple soft serve. There was too much Dole Whip for my taste, and I left with something of a stomachache. Wife had a Painkiller, which was better than my drink. Neither was worth the price tag: $16 each. Bartenders were mildly surly and uninterested in helping us decide on our drinks. This was annoying, since they weren't really that busy by bar standards (and one might expect Tiki bartenders to be a wee bit more cheery). So: a $40 tab for two elaborate drinks (plus tip) and the chance to stand around, sipping amidst empty tables and a crowded bar in a decorative space. Not remotely worth it. Will we return? Sure, if a tourist is in town and is desperate for a Mai Tai. Otherwise, we'll be skipping the Golden Tiki in the future. Well show me the way to the next whiskey bar...

A group of 4 of us got reservations here at the end of February and we had a really good time. We really enjoyed the music they were playing and the ambience is really nice. I enjoyed my pork sliders ($16) and the large basket of China Fries ($12), and both of my cocktails as well. We all had a really fun time there and wouldn't hesitate to come back. On the downside, the booth that we were in had cushioning that was in pretty sad shape, and it seemed like we all had to lean forward to use the table (the back of the booth was way too far from the table)....on the plus side, we weren't cramped at all as the booth could have seated way more than 4 people.

Visited this unique spot during the holiday season with my little sister. We were immediately blown away by the immersive atmosphere! Menu is packed with many different choices of crafted cocktails, beers and snacks. Excellent service. We were obsessed with the coconut shrimp and alcoholic dolewhips. This will be the place I come with friends going forward.

There's a reason the Golden Tiki is a top tiki room in Vegas. The food is top tier (seriously, try all of the appetizers!) their happy hour is really reasonable, and their drinks are delicious. The place is gaudy and great, and the live music is always a hit.

This is just....a fun 21 and over place to be. I DID go with my guy friends, and a heads up....my wife (and maybe yours) would not appreciate the bathroom wall decor, but I digress. Still a place to have an amazing time. All of the bartenders were on their game, interactive....and just...fun. All of our drinks were, we'll not refilled, but replaced, quite often. ;) They would light your drinks on fire if you asked. Good attitude, and both a lively AND relaxed atmosphere. We shared a lot if dishes for happy hour prices. The meatballs were somewhat spicy, but still good...and big. Those cheese Rangoon were amazing, and were devoured post haste. I don't eat shrimp (allergy), but my bud says the coconut crust was delicious, and he says the sauce was an "Asian spin on a cocktail sauce." All of our drinks and foodstuffs were perfect No complaints, and for a fun, 21 and over evening, I recommend checking it out

Love that I can make a reservation online to be guaranteed a seat. Great drinks and food! And of course the ambience and decor is

We were refused service because my wife didn't have an ID. She is 70 years old. Zero common sense and zero tolerance. They say they are open 24 hours but twice in the last year they have been closed until after 11 am ??? The absolute arrogance of the wait staff when denying service was unbelievable. I normally go there twice a year but NEVER again. 1 star because I can't give less.

Great spot with unique energy. Never a dull moment. The type of establishment where you may post up for a few hours engaged in good conversation, or get asked to leave when recommending drunk patrons aren't physically restrained via bartender neck kneels and asphyxiation. Moral of the story, be cool, mind your business, and watch what you say.
