I love this place and I'm so upset I am writing this. I just got a text cancelling my reservation for Sunday. Stating our prior visit "several house infractions were noted". I have been going there for years, being a local we always brought our guests there when visiting LV. The last time I was there was almost a year ago and they wouldn't let us in bc we had open toed shoes. Oddly enough, my female guest (wearing flip flops) was allowed in and her husband (wearing sneakers) while my husband and I were wearing dress Birkenstock shoes. It was 105 degrees outside and we were dressed for a night out. Why were we refused service? Was it because we are a gay couple? So how can you deny our return when we were never allowed in? If we wore a dress, would you have allowed us in with flip flops. And also, if you don't want open toed shoes, state that in your dress code. Your "managers" weren't even clear as to why a woman wearing flip flops was allowed in but a male isn't?? If you don't want my business then stop sending me invitations. Also, when you cancel a reservation for "infractions" don't follow with "We look forward to assisting you with future reservations". This was my favorite spot to visit with friends and now knowing your discrimination is so incredible, you will never see me or my friends again. Ironically, I also go to the Speakeasy in Bloomington Indiana that was modeled off of this one. They are an inclusive establishment in a tolerant atmosphere.
Exceptional results every time! I’ve used this company multiple times for various cleaning needs, from sofas to rugs to mattresses. Each time, the results are flawless, and their attention to detail is unmatched. They truly care about their customers and provide a level of service that is hard to find these days. Highly recommend!
Cool speakeasy inside the Commonwealth. Really appreciated how much effort they put into curating the prohibition era look and feel.
Our hostess and bartender were great, the popcorn was addicting, and the cocktails were delicious. The chill low-key vibes with period specific music (plus an awesome piano player) made it feel super authentic.
I didn't feel the prices were unreasonable at all compared to similar places and certainly never felt unwelcome as some of the other reviews suggest.
Would definitely go back again next time I'm in Vegas and would encourage everyone to check it out too.

Remember that this is a speakeasy, so don’t expect food. Provided gourmet popcorn. They did however recommend several close restaurants to which we took advantage of and wasn’t disappointed. Place had a lot of history and was quite a cool place to be in. Had pictures on the wall to of the era. Drinks were phenomenal along with the staff!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. The laundry room showed a complete lack of accountability and empathy for my situation. I made a reservation for 9pm this evening. The reservation email stated “your reservation is confirmed.” It didn’t say it was kinda confirmed. It didn’t say it was maybe confirmed. It said confirmed. It’s also worth noting I received no communication my reservation was cancelled. So the only assurance I did have was my email stating my reservation was confirmed. Relying on that, I paid for a cab from the strip to take me to this place. Of course as you can probably guess at this point, I showed up only to learn my reservation was “not in their system” Did they apologize? Nope. Did they say, “hey I’m sorry you spend $35 taxi fares to get here only to learn our system messed up?” No. Instead they said there was nothing they could do for me. They did not let me speak to a manager, and they said they could not make up my massive inconvenience on a different night, despite this being entirely their fault.
So here is the bottom line. I had a “confirmed” reservation. I received no cancellation notices at all. Given that, I reasonably assumed I had a reservation. But they apparently canceled my reservation without telling me. Instead of being understanding and accommodating, they told me I was out of luck. Terrible customer service
Ended up paying cover for 2 to get into the bar only to realize it was reservation only.🙃 Will have to try again one day.

My wife and I had visited The Laundry Room a few years back. As we planned a trip to LV with our adult daughter, we knew we had to return and we did! The cocktails are outstanding---great menu with notes that really help you decide. The personal attention given to us was very much appreciated. Even the popcorn was off the chain. I really need to know the source of that Dill Pickle flavored popcorn so that I can enjoy back home in North Carolina! Please reply with that info. Cheers!

I know that there is a cancellation fee, but I had been waiting since Sunday for a response from an email about a special request and no one got back to me and it’s Tuesday. I saw the cancellation charge was $25, but it didn’t say per person, so now, since I didn’t get a response and had to cancel due to the unknown answer and was charged $100!!! I will never come to this one, again…I had a great experience a few years ago, but it looks like they lost a customer and potentially everyone from the conference that I come to Vegas for every year…

Too many rules in this place and so many more speakeasy type bars in Vegas.
No refundable $25pp reso fee
2 drink minimum, and they make you purchase their terrible popcorn for an extra $6pp.
No standing, no PDA, no phones.
Hit or miss as far as enforcing the dress code.
They get so many tourists they don't care about their locals... who would spend more money!
Bartenders attitudes are awful. They think it's right to serve you, super pretentious and zero tact. Not welcoming in the slightest.
Walk a block in any direction and you'll find a better place than this.

Get your popcorn ready for this one. Nobody likes doing laundry. But it's something you have to do. The Laundry Room, on the other hand, is somewhere you should avoid. Why? Here's my experience so you can judge things for yourself.
The Laundry Room is not a laundromat. It's a speakeasy. And one that requires reservations, even on weekdays. When you make a reservation online, you have to agree that you will be charged $25 as a cancellation fee if you're a no-show. Are we starting to see a trend here?
I made a reservation for two for a Monday night at 10:15. Once I arrived, the bouncer informed me that my friend could not get in because he was wearing "athletic shorts." He was not in fact wearing athletic shorts. I know what athletic shorts are and they did not fit the bill. And while I hate to do this, it is important information. My friend is African-American.
After talking to the bouncer about the situation (he said his name was Darrell though I wouldn't be surprised if he gave me a fake name), I could tell things weren't going anywhere. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there was no manager present that night. I then asked to speak to whoever was making decisions for the evening and was told that I could text a number instead. I texted the number three times and received no response.
Have you ever experienced a bar or restaurant that tells you to text them when you're at the establishment and refuses to speak to you person-to-person. This is also an establishment that doesn't have a phone number you can call. It's email only. Are you seeing a trend here?
I then asked if I could go in alone and the bouncer told me that I couldn't because the reservation was for two people and they didn't want to leave an open seat. And that I would be charged the $25 fee even though I didn't cancel. I told the bouncer I would take a picture of him and then he freaked out and went inside. I saw him hiding behind the front door, trying to avoid being caught on camera.
Given my experience, it's pretty clear how this business operates. Here's one last piece of information: they require a two-drink minimum per person, they require you to buy their popcorn, and they charge 25% gratuity automatically. Seriously? These are the policies of a speakeasy that treats their customers in a certain way, exploits people to make a buck, and creates fake hype for themselves. I'll do my laundry elsewhere. Thank you.

The Laundry Room is one of the best bars in the world. This is not some gimmicky speakeasy. It has earned its praise, and it has created a special experience for guests in this bustling, hot city. It's committed to high concept cocktails that all fit into a retro theme that evokes the birth of Las Vegas as a major city. Furthermore, it's in an old laundry building that saw that city be born. Usually manned by one mixologist and one host/assistant, it's the definition of a top professional bar. It's a quiet sanctuary where one can really appreciate the art and craft of one of the great things in life - cocktails. So dress up, turn the phone off, and take it all in for the 90 minutes you get in a typical reservation.
The staff are correct in that most questions about the drinks are answered in the menu. So be prepared to read. But the staff seem happy to answer questions, and give advice on which of your two drinks you should order first.
I've been to some great bars in my travels. The American Bar and Lyaness in London. Jewel Of The South and Fives in New Orleans. The Dead Rabbit, Death And Co., Double Chicken Please, and the Campbell in New York. The Laundry Room is one of them. One of the very best. I can't see myself not going there each time I visit Las Vegas going forward. It's so great, it's inspiring me to go to Vegas more often.
