The Oyster Bar at Durango

My husband and I are staying at the Durango for the week. We stumbled upon the Oyster Bar and boy were we impressed. The oysters are so fresh, and the cioppino and jambalaya were on point. We met Grace and Bobby who were working behind the bar - such kind people who really love what they do and offer great service. Highly recommend! Mahalo from Hawaii!! We WILL be back.

Lined up for a midnight snack, and it was worth the wait. The raw oysters and clams were fresh and the pan roast was a standout—creamy, savory, and with just the right amount of heat. Paired with their sourdough table bread, it was absolutely delicious.

Unfortunately, the service fell short. It started strong with a very patient and helpful staff member who gave great recommendations. But as the meal went on, we were mostly ignored, dishes piled up at the counter, and things we asked for were forgotten.

Despite the service hiccups, the quality of the food and the fact that it’s 24/7 make it worth trying, especially for oyster lovers.

The food here is delicious, I come every time I get paid. I recommend the oysters, they are so fresh! I get the bouillabaisse too. Delicious ?

Arie and grace were the very best..they contribute to the reason we keep coming back.arie is an excellent cook and grace is a pleasure as a waitress..recently we bought some guest in from out of town and now they cannot stop talking about the superb food and service
..keep doing what you do and that's placing a smile on patrons faces..

Jovanna was such a sweet person made our whole experience such a memorable one. Chef Arie made us the most delicious manhattan clam chowder highly recommend coming. Service & food was excellent.

Grace is like family now her service is second to none. Along with Bobby the Chef he is a great cook and has a great disposition about himself. This is now our favorite Oyestar bar in this City because of the people. The food is superb!!!!!
