We are locals and we always like checking out places we haven't been to in a while. A group of four of us decided to go check Parlour Coffee out for brunch today and we left 5 minutes after we came in the service was so bad.

We walked inside and there was a woman behind the counter counting a bunch of things, sorting paperwork, etc. It was hot outside and we first wanted to get some drinks while we ordered food. The menu was on a screen right by the front door, so we're all cramming at the door trying to read this menu while people are trying to come inside and also read the menu. It was the dumbest layout I've ever seen in any restaurant.

So we're all standing at the order counter and we're waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and still, no service. The woman behind the counter CLEARLY could not care less about us. It's not like they were busy either. There were maybe 2 other people inside having coffee. After we still couldn't get any service, we decided to leave. We went to 7th & Carson next door and the place was PACKED with people (that should tell you everything you need to know about how bad Parlour Coffee is). We all had a great breakfast there. The food was great as was the service, in spite them being very busy.

We'll wait until Parlour goes out of business, which we assume will be soon, and we'll look forward to the next owner does with it.

Delicious brunch spot that was open bright and early! Coffee was good, and the food was delicious. The Frenchie savory crepe and chorizo burrito were PLENTY of food. The staff was also nice. This is a great spot to chill and have a slow morning. Not sure about parking options. We came in an uber and had no problem.

Love this place. I was torn between the Nutella pancakes and the crepes and they made Nutella crepe pancakes, which were absolutely divine, utterly heavenly ❤️❤️❤️

This place is a short walk off of fremont street, and it's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos, friendly service, good food and reasonable prices.

Breakfast was just ok but the coffee was Really good and strong. Server did over charged me He charged us for 2 specialty syphon coffees but only did one and split it into 2 half full cups ( he said that it's enough for 2 cups)but few mins later the lady in the table next to us order same coffee but for only one person and she got the exact same one we got. Not cool trying to hustle us locals like that or even tourists.

I have gone almost half a dozen times, and will continue to. My friends and siblings introduced me to this diamond of a spot, and I really like it. It doesn't feel like a restaurant or bar. It feels like someone's house.
I feel as if I got invited to my cool cousin's pad, and they happen to have perpetually available sustenance and drink for my every whim. Truly enjoy it.

I had put a review earlier sharing a negative comment on how their digital menu was far away from the order counter so for a first timer like me it was very challenging to know what to order without seeing the menu and if there is a line, you just have to go to the back of the line.

Since then I have changed my review as I think that issue was trivial and you could basically scan the menu.

Their food is amazing and coffee is very delicious. Love this new foodie place downtown and encourage more to open up and transform downtown into this real cool real chill vibe

tl;dr I expected this to be a solid coffee spot but the pour over tasted watered down

Drove out to Fremont area specifically to try the coffee here. They offered pour over (and syphons, which I was intrigued by but didn’t try), and their signature coffee has beans from Guatemala and Brazil, my two favorites.

However, the flavor was weak and tasted like there was too much water. I’m not sure if it was brewed improperly or the signature coffee has lackluster flavor, but it was a disappointing experience.

I've contemplated on how to go about this review as I want to be fair but honest. We consider ourselves foodies and we're excited to find this place. I will start with it's not a sit down and be served which no biggie. The ladies were all very nice and efficient. We ordered the Meximosa and Arnold Palmer, corned beef and hash and the chicken fried steak. I'm allergic to eggs and so I usually give them to my husband I wasn't told they'd be on top of my steak under all the gravy. I ordered them over hard so no risk of the yolk breaking when taking them off my plate but they still came over easy. My fault for not asking so I just got them off the best I could. Our drinks were not good, the palmer tasted almost grapefruit like and the Meximosa was supposed to be mango and it just tasted like cheap champagne with tajin and chamoy. My husband said the corned beef was about a 7 but the rest of his plate was meh. My CFS was dry and pretty bland, the gravy and potatoes were really good. The biscuits oh man. I'd rather chew on sand they were so dry. For the price ($54) and we always tip well($20) we don't feel like it was worth half of what we paid. Not gross but not good. All the food coming out looked amazing but lacked major flavor. We likely will not return. Edit to add because I forgot, the smell when you first walk in was far from pleasant. Not their fault I don't believe but it was not good. It seems to be worse by the entrance.

Always a vibe; with the location being tucked away between Fremont and Container Park, you'd expect a crowd of rowdiness in there. But it's the exact opposite. I typically go in the evenings. You can catch a tiny desk concert playing on the TV, jazz playing softly, a dimly lit decor and the best service ever. The food is absolutely amazing as well. This place is always my vibe and one of my favorites. I highly recommend you visit.
