Our wonderful bartender savannah was stellar at service as I am a novice bartender myself trying out new drinks myself she was very helpful in explaining the hollaback girl drink I got and even made me a drink off menu so I could try it. And both drink came out very wonderful enjoyed everybit of my experience here!!!!

My recent visit to The Sand Dollar Downtown, located inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino, was an exercise in frustration and resulted in an absolutely dismal experience. My friend and I came in with the intention of ordering a couple of pizzas and filming a YouTube video. We informed the bartender of our plans, expecting at least a basic level of service. After we ordered our pizzas, the bartender never once offered us anything to drink, not even water. We had to go up to the bar ourselves to request water. This lack of basic attentiveness was just the beginning. Approximately 20 minutes after ordering, the bartender returned to inform us that our pizzas had been mistakenly given away to another table. She offered a quick apology and then simply walked away, leaving us to stew in disbelief. We waited another agonizing 20 minutes for our order to be rectified. While the pizzas themselves were decent once they finally arrived, the service was undeniably horrible. The bartender (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) made no effort to engage with us, offered zero conversation, and frankly seemed to have no interest in providing any sort of service. This was an epic fail from start to finish, and I can confidently say I will never return to The Sand Dollar Downtown.

I just don't love downtown anything. $15 for 1 beer....no thanks. The only reason we were here was to support our friend while she played at Ma'am Jam. Wish Ma'am Jam had been at Spring Mt location.

I bought tickets for a concert at this venue. I have a disability and need to be able to sit. I've called this venue every day for a week after opening and it goes straight to voicemail, I've left messages, I've called their sister bar and I've called the plaza to get ADA accomodations or to see if I can bring my own chair. The operater at the plaza said seating is first come first serve basis. Can't get a hold of the venue to even discuss the ADA topic. I feel scammed. You purchase tickets for a show and can't get a hold of anyone.

Would have been great. I’ve been here before and had a great time that’s why I wanted to have my son’s 21st birthday here. Super disappointed. I talked to them back in March about getting a band and setting up the party. They got back to me on the band and I was super excited. Told them I was happy to pay upfront with the band and whatever. Never heard back about payment but just type of band. Fine whatever I’ll just pay day of. Nope.. nothing.. there was nothing day of. Yo no wonder why this place is failing. They put all the effort into the successful venue. Why do you guys even bother with the second venue??
