Being stuck on the strip feels like being lost in a vegan food desert. Truth & Tonic is the solution. It’s hidden away inside the 4th floor Spa at the Venetian Hotel, but is VERY much open to the public. I’m so glad we found this place. Perfect for breakfast or lunch, or when you just need a break.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Although it took some time to locate within the Venetian Casino, the diverse array of plant-based and non-plant-based food options made it completely worthwhile. You can also get inspired to try rock climbing at the nearby attraction or indulge in the spa. To find the restaurant easily, head to the hotel lobby and request access to the elevator, which the security staff can assist with. It's situated on the fourth floor, near the Grand Canyon...

I had the Coconut Milk French toast with scrambled tofu on the side. The French toast was pretty good but a little dry. Definitely could have had a bit more maple syrup. The tofu scramble though was super salty and not enjoyable at all.

Both my friend and I had iced chai lattes (mine a dirty chai). The first attempt was completely without flavour and looked to be made with water. They offered to remake them and when they came back they had a lot more spice in...
