I didn't realize this place was open because this used to be one of the spots for all you can eat back in the day. My husband asked if I wanted to try it out so I said sure. We came on a Saturday night, pretty early to check it out. There was no one else there yet, because 5:30 is still early I guess. We were seated right away and the server was very friendly. I ordered the Charishi Don. For $42 I was expecting mind blowing sushi, but I was a bit disappointed. It was good, but definitely isn't my go to place for some sushi. We did order some nigri and the pricing on the uni nigri was for one piece ($14) and obviously couldn't leave out the husband for uni. Nigri was good too. My husband ordered the tonkatsu but I didn't try it. Overall, service was good but after spending $150 and leaving still hungry it was a bit of a let down.

I checked in last nite and about to order what menu from yelp still have with all the kushiyaki japanese skewers, and that I aslo celebrated my birthday here last year, but waiter said sorry we changed menu and now only serves like 5 or 6 skewers one chicken, 1 beef,, egg and some.vegetables. This is so unfortunate because this is the closest (in this area) that does all yalitori and kushiyaki.but not anymore.

This gem has exquisite sushi, wonderful service & a super relaxing environment you won't find in many sushi places in Vegas. The blue fin tuna was out of this world & the presentation of all the food was very pretty. They serve wonderful sake also. The decor is also so nice & modern. Try this lovely place out!

The service at this place is outstanding. As well as the food. The server always remembers your dinner preferences. Just great attention to detail. Also..you can taste here sushi varieties that are not common in any other sushi place. We keep coming here on a regular basis.

#1 The food is dynamic.#2 The customer service is on point.#3 Their cleanness is defiantly above the health code!!Las Vegas has lost its proper protocol of customer service as of the pandemic. It's really hard to find customer service, cleanness, and good food all at the same time. I recommend you try this Lokey spot and feel the good positive vibes.!!!

Umezono is absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things about it. My first experience with Umezono was earlier last year. I was looking for a private chef for a graduation party and was lucky enough to find Umezono. I scheduled a tasting prior to my event and was able to curate a menu to my liking with Chef Ben's help - everything completely exceeded my expectations. The quality of fish is comparable to that of Nobu or Matsuhisa - trust me, I'm a sushi connoisseur. Not to mention, Chef Ben is so kind, personable and knowledgeable I am so happy to have met him. Umezono is now a regular spot for my husband and I. I have shared the greatness of this places to many friends and family as well. If you are looking for an A+ absolutely exceptional private dining/catering experience, or just an excellent sushi spot - look no further!

As a Japanese American person who's somewhat picky when it comes to Japanese cuisine, I must say this place was delicious. The fish we ordered (both cooked and raw) were perfectly prepared and high quality. Everything tasted amazing. Housemade dressings, soy sauce, dipping sauces, and mochi. Very impressed! Can't wait to go back.
