This place is amazing! I had the tofu banh mi sandwich and it was delicious. It had a great amount of veggies and marinated tofu. Not to mention the bread that it comes in. Fluffy, yet chewy and good amount of spices in the dough.

I recently visited this place and was really impressed! The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the air smells absolutely delicious. The food is served quickly, yet it’s incredibly tasty and fresh. I especially loved the soups — full of flavor and very satisfying. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

I'm so happy I finally got to try this place out. This location offers plenty of parking with tons of indoor/outdoor tables for those casually dining in. It has an open layout with a modern and minimalistic design that's very inviting. When we walked in, we were instantly greeted and the cashier was very friendly when taking down our order. There were so many great options and I was so excited to try out their freshly baked focaccia bread. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Bowl with a Dragon Fruit Agua Fresca and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. My husband got the Pastrami Tri Tip that came with one of their signature side salads.
The Dragon Fruit Agua Fresca is literally one of my new favorite drinks. It was so sweet and refreshing which paired perfectly with both of our meals. The Ahi Tuna Bowl is filled with so many elevated components that worked wonderfully together. The tuna was seared to perfection, the vegetables were so fresh, and the salad dressing helped combine all the flavors together. As for the sandwich, the Pastrami was so flavorful, the pickles had a nice sweetness to it, and the soft, pillowy inside of the focaccia had my belly doing a happy dance. We ended the meal with their very soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie which was absolutely delicious and it made this whole experience worth the try.
I always visit Urbane cafe when I'm driving through Cali. Its a good switch up from panera and zupas. I always enjoy there chicken sandwiches 🥪 😋!

First time at an Urban Cafe. The food was great and the people were very nice. What I'm guessing to be the manager even stopped by our table as we were finishing, politely asked us how we enjoyed it, verified us as first timers, and offered us a first timer's cookies (it was delicious). The kiosks are lined up as you come in (sadly common these days), but they are clean, have large screens and looked easy enough to use. We instead made our way over to the counter area - mostly due to the billboards that made the entire menu easy to read and compare. The cashier counter was vacant, but someone stepped over pretty promptly to ask if we had any questions. We didn't yet, so they went back to what they were doing yet stayed attentive such that when we were ready we did not have to wait for someone to step right up to take the order. The food was delivered in a very reasonable time and was tasty. Both our sandwiches included a side salad, which was also very good.
At the end of the day, it' has a little bit of a fast-foody feed, but up-leveled substantially with way better quality food and service for only marginally more than what a trip to a traditional fast food place costs these days.
It feels like it would probably get fairly loud in there when they are busy, but we were there during off hours and can't say for sure given there were only 1-2 other tables in use during our stay.
Overall a simply great experience that met or exceeded our expectations based on what we knew when we decided to go there.
We'll be back - no doubt about it.
