I placed a large online order to pick-up. My boyfriend and I (both meat eaters) wanted to surprised my mom (big vegan) and grandma (non) as well. The staff was pretty cool and nice. They were making our order as we were walking in. We didn't wait long tho and they keep checking up on is despite making our order. We ordered the Singaporean fried noodles, sashimi spring roll, Japanese baked lasagna, california roll, rainbow roll, and fried "calamari" roll. It was very delicious and my mom loved it. My boyfriend, grandma, and myself are quite surprised by the vegan sushi. They kept the texture of the real sushi and translated amazing well to vegan sushi. For instance, the sashimi spring roll replicated the sashimi by boiling and softening the beets and skinned bell peppers. Crazy! It's really hard to find a vegan restaurant that doesn't use onions and garlic because of my parents' religious dietary restrictions, and I do have to do a lot of research and calling before even considering of taking them to the restaurant. Thankfully, I didn't have to do much research because I knew this restaurant have catered to many people from my parents' temple.

I walked in a lady with a frustrated face come running pass me towards the neon OPEN sign. She turn the sign off and tell me they are closed. ME: what time do you close? LADY: 8pm. ME: What time is it right now? LADY: 7:50. ME: Can I place an order to go? LADY- Mumbling something in Chinese with a frustrated look on her face. ME: I'll just go somewhere else. LADY: Ok. with a happy smiling face. The hour of operation is 11:30 am - 8pm Veggieat, you need a sign that says 'Open till 8 pm. JUST KIDDING!'

I would like to start with the positive. I really enjoy the food here which is why I keep going back. I also like to support small local businesses. I can just no longer overlook the lack of attention to detail. I have ordered food from here regularly and something has either been missing or wrong with my order every single time. I let them know. I have been very nice. They never offer anything free or even discounted for messing my order up . When I order I even remind them to please remember whatever they forgot the last time and they still mess up. I would say if you expect your order to be right, take your business someplace else.

Ohmygosh this place deserves five stars for sure. I can't believe everything here is vegan! So many delicious savory meals and sweets offered here. We got the rainbow sushi roll, fresh veggie spring rolls with shrimp, and a banh mi with bbq pork. The rainbow roll had a good mesh of flavors and textures, spring rolls were fresh, and the banh mi was exactly like how i remember the sandwiches to be before I went vegan.

Honestly I'm actually really impressed with the food here it taste really good, the Ramen was delicious even the Vietnamese sandwiches to the chicken lollipop things. My only complaint from a few different times I've come here is the cost is so pricey for overall concept of the food it's not like gourmet style restaurant seating or anything but I definitely feel like i'm paying a lot for food that's really good but not like phenomenal.

Plant Based deliciousness with so much to choose from & not only that, Victoria is the sweetest, kindest little lady & sincerely wants you to enjoy her foods! She always goes the extra mile!! If you haven't tried veggieat, do so! I've been to all the locations hehe everything is yum! My favorite go to is Black Bean Vegan Ribs ! Chicken Firing Buffalo Wings 5pc & at the other locations the chicken Banh mi sandwhich is my number one I recenely tried the Tom yum vegan jerky! It's good! Something different. Wow ! My husband and i have really been craving vegan asian food and this place hit the spot! We ordered Japanese lasagna roll , sesame spicy crunchy roll and orange chicken. It was all very delicious! Will definitely be our new spot when we're craving it. Highly recommend!
My friend recommend this place for vegan sushi. I gave it a try. So I ordered 5 rolls, 3 entree, 1 egg roll through their website for pick up, total $122. I got an email confirmation but the receipt only showed 4 rolls and 1 egg roll. I thought maybe it was their system glitch. I came to pick up. Here came the problem: My order was exactly 4 rolls and 1 egg roll. I asked the front lady how came I got charge $122 while those food was only half of what I ordered. She was very uncooperative, rude and agrued their system only showed half order. I showed her my email receipt and my bank account that I was charged full amount. She said she cannot do anything since it was not her fault and told me to call whatever system I ordered from. WTF? How do I know which number to call? Or what system you use? She told me if I want the other half of my order, I have order and pay for it again. Seriously? Then she started to speak mandarin. I nicely ask her if she can speak cantonese since I cannot speak mandarin. She said only mandarin only. Ok, that was fine. I told to her speak english but she kept speaking mandarin with a very rude attitude. I told her if I can speak with a manager. At first she refused, then she gave me the number to call it my self. WTF again. I am a customer that was having problem with your system which it was clearly not my fault and you expected to handle it myself. She finally called her manager and let me talked to her. The manager was nice and arrived within 5 minutes. She arrived, I explained what happened. She was helpful aand explained nicely. She will call their system to next day and will give me a call. I was ok with that because I was very hungry, just want to go home and enjoy the food. Then she checked the computer, it showed the system charge me full amount and the front lady walked to the kitchen immediately. The manager refunded me the full amount and charged me whatever came out. That was super easy but it took 30 minutes of back and forth. 5 star for manager, 0 star for the front lady, 4 star for the sushi rolls = 3 star overall.

Not a fan. The first time I went there about a year ago, the food was alright, and the egg rolls were dreadful. The skin on the egg rolls were rubbery and chewy. I literally had to tug and pull for 10 seconds after taking a bite to break them apart. thought maybe I was just unlucky and got served a bad batch, so I decided to give it a second try a year later. It was the same. I'm so surprised that they are still on the menu. We also ordered some noodle soups and some sushi, which were all mediocre. Not bad, but nothing I would crave going back for. They may serve pretty decent sushi, but those egg rolls definitely need some serious work.

Amazing food & fast service! The vegan sushi is top notch better than the real thing! The beef n broccoli is amazing as well! I do recommend picking it up as delivery from the apps (not their fault) can take a bit but other than that it's delicious and well worth it.
