This whimsical place is a one of a kind! And although Vegas has manyy tú of these, this one is super different! The cocktails are crafted so beautifully with so much detail I just get mind blown!

Drinks are fantastic, quick, and the place is just a cool space to be in. The host is also so nice, sweet, and accommodating.Our waitress, on the other hand, made clear to us that we were an imposition to her evening. We don't claim to be perfect, but one of our group wanted to change her drink, but it had already been submitted, and our waitress made clear that this was irritating...for her to walk two steps to the bar and tell the change in drink order to the bartenders. The other option here would be her sending a drink back she didn't like, so I feel like this way saved a more frustrating outcome/conversation later. Then at the end, we wanted the drinks split between (2) couples, and we were again greeted with very clear disdain from the waitress whe having to take that addtional 30 seconds to resolve the bill.That said, she was very knowledgable about the drinks and clear in her communication of what you can expect when ordering cetain items (she's obviously worked long enough to have an idea of what the average person will find palatable). We still recommend it, but flexibility doesn't seem to be a hallmark here.

Definitely more of an experience place and not a casual spot to grab a drink. Had an hour wait ~10pm on a Friday. We had a party of 7. They state they only split checks 3 ways if you have a party of 8 but wouldn’t split checks for us singular. They won’t let you order at the bar separately from your group. The seating is all vintage and not super comfortable. The whole vibe felt like you pay to be inconvenienced or uncomfortable. After waiting for our server for 5-10 minutes they did offer a couple people some shots to make up for the wait. Overall just seems like a place with rules that im sure they have a reason for but it wasn’t my style of bar.

Lola took care of us and was so sweet! She was super attentive and has a great personality. We went in for a drink while waiting for our dinner res, and safe to say that we made a great choice stopping by. When we first arrived, we were told we can be seated until a specific time until another party shows up since we didn't make reservations beforehand. It was pretty empty inside over the duration of our visit, so we were able to stay longer than anticipated. I really enjoyed the interior decor and the ambiance is on point! Even the menu was super artsy and detailed for the seasonal craft cocktails. They also have a Photo Booth outside for $5 cash or $7ish credit card where you can snap 4 black & white pics and it takes a few minutes to print the strip. I ordered a couple of the Palomas and they were delicious. We really enjoyed our visit and I'll make sure to visit again when I'm back in town!

I knew I wanted to come here as soon as I looked up this place online. I am glad that we made it! It is outside of the strip but definitely worth the trip. The drinks were some of the most creative drinks I've ever had. They infuse a lot of their alcohol. I had the black lagoon drink with seaweed infused rum , pandan liquer , coconut falernum, and coconut cream. It was very unique unlike any other drink I had. I forget what other drinks I had, one had mushroom infused I think. They were all delicious. The bartender was talking to me and my husband also and was very friendly. It was also a bonus that it was decorated for Halloween. Alot of their decorations I also had at my house haha. I would have stayed there all night but we were trying to go to another bar afterwards so we had ti pace ourselves . We would definitely make a return trip though next time we're in Vegas!

Velveteen Rabbit is a staple in downtown Las Vegas. I visited for the first time last night, and I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. When entering, I was shocked by the darkness in the bar, because I could not even see my own foot taking a step into this bar. I think if I were to come back and try again, it would be on a date with my wife rather than with a group of friends because this location seems to be going for a sexy and intimate ambience that I just was not prepared for. I couldn't even read the menu because it was so dark. What I did notice is that there is outdoor seating With well lit areas so I'm going to give it another shot when the temperatures in Las Vegas become more mild. As for the long list of specialty cocktails, nothing on the menu grab my attention so instead, I ordered a white rascal which is a white ale, a beer that had a delicious flavor with the hint of sweetness and citrus taste. I am definitely going to come here again just to give it another shot with different company and maybe sit outdoors rather than in the darkness of the bar.

This has always been a favorite spot for me. I never have a bad cocktail and this most recent visit I actually had my favorite espresso martini I've had in a while. I very much appreciate our server who recommended I try it with a few added things she liked. It was wonderful.
