Vesta Coffee Roasters

A decent boutique coffee roaster, offering up their own for drip, pour overs, espresso. They are sporting a modest kitchen, which is a tad smaller than the coffee counter. They offer a short slate of house made pastries as well as packaged coffee. The kitched also does some breakfast dishes, toasts, salads, etc..
On the North side of 18b with its own parking lot, seating for about 25. The La Marzocco machine impresses, and it means they MUST be filtering this Las Vegas water.
Roasts from what I can see in the grinder bins are on the light side of medium roast, and a tad dry on the outside. The one 12 oz. drip I got ran true to form with that dry observation (one free refill). Less my style, but well executed.
Mr. Barrista chatted with me a bit, and handed me an Americano. Definitely shows a lot more character, but subdued. These always come out too hot for me, and oxidized a bit in the cooling. Aromatics of... sorry for the beer jargon, dried grain, almost bready, reminsicent of a good Brown Ale or an English Dark Mild. Taste includes lightly vinuous, or wine-y character. The dry sensation is gone. Def. if you want the more complex characteristics, go for the espresso options.
There is a third crew tending to the roaster, which is adequately vented,or the whole shop would smell of it.

Clean and neat facility, !~20% dedicated to roasting.

Great pesto turkey sandwich flavorful and juicy and the coffee was with fresh beans and Great but I should have gotten a iced drink instead

Amazing coffees!!! Such unique flavors. Experimental fermentations and roasts. Mostly light roasts. Single origin coffees come with free alternative milk (oat), otherwise there's an upcharge.

Blown away by the pour over options here! Had the pleasure of trying a couple:

1. Huila El Mirador, Washed Pink Champagne process - literally in your face fruit notes, reminded me of watermelon jolly rancher 🍬 modest sweetness in the aftertaste. A punchy cup to enjoy once in a while!

2. Sidamo Dale Washed - comforting clean acidity, with a long, pleasing aftertaste of tea-like floral notes. I’d love to take a bag of beans home for this one!

They also have the roastery inside, with jute bags right in sight! What a treat for coffee lovers🥰

Yea I use to come here more frequently when the staff was chill, more diverse and welcoming this last time however was weird the lack of diversity in the staff and unwelcoming nature made me leave this one barista was rude and impatient with me a blond petite woman. Didn’t catch her name unfortunately

The heavyset gentleman in the front as we were picking up our to go order, told my wife that the bag was ripped slightly and would rip more to carry it carefully. I’m not sure why he did not either double baguette or replace the food in a new bag because as soon as she walked outside, the whole order dropped and fell. Terrible terrible terrible that is a lazy employee and I sure hope it wasn’t a manager or owner.

very chill spot. almond croissant was flaky and packed with really delicate and delicious filling. the seasonal honey latte was also delicious, although a tad too sweet for my taste. very cool to see how the roast the beans within the establishment as well.

I have been to many coffee shops in Vegas and all have disappointed, until Vesta. I have been specifically looking for good specialty espresso and Vesta provided with one of the best espressos I've ever had, head and shoulders better than anything else in Vegas. Also, the root beer cold brew was also phenomenal. Highly recommended for real espresso fans.

All I have to say is HONEY COMB LATTE! Delicious and high quality coffee. Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
