There is an old saying. It takes a village to raise a pub. Nevertheless, there are certain purposes to old style taverns. Where old sayings still apply even in modern times.
And a well traveled patron learns not to judge a tavern by its bar food menu.
This tavern is a place where every local knows the servers name. A place where their welcoming salutations include the words, "What are you looking for?" Rather than , what will you be drinking today.
A Villager in a pub sits awaits for the curious traveler. Some of which may be descendants to the original freemason gathering places.
You might say that it takes a pub of villagers to serve travelers "map questioning through time"
As it only takes one bartender to serve those seeking to get drunk.

Happy hour not good at bar…
My husband tried the sliders and I had the fish and chips which were very good. The prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our lunch there.

Out for a late dinner, I come across the Village pub in a quick Google search. This place is 24 hours, which is amazing. I am visiting from out of state and I miss 24 hour place. Now we are greeted by the most delightful woman named Kelly. She was so wonderful and friendly. She had great recommendations. The Chicken fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies is what I had, and my friend got the NY strip and eggs. Everything was perfect. We both left full and satisfied with our experience. You should take a visit and say hello to Kelly, who of course invited us back, and I'm sure we will before leaving town. Thank you so much, Kelly, and the chef working last night. Oh!!! the broccoli soup is the best I have ever had!

Food was so good. I had the French dip and Loved it. My husband had the ribs and was very happy, are them all. Our guest had the Thanksgiving special and she said it was Great. We had the potato skins as appetizer and they are made in house. Portion sizes are huge. Will definitely go back.
