Steady stream of customers, mostly from South America so I knew I was in the right place. Good service, attentive. Quick getting orders out despite being slammed. Tried the wood fired shredded chicken arepas and it was excellent. The sauces that come with it were both very good. Also tried the roasted pork butt arepas and it was just as good. I love the plantains and arepas here! Not as good as how my Venezuelan friends in Minnesota make them at home or when I was in Florida but close. The staff are very friendly and there's a lot of seating space inside. The parking can be a bit tricky, and it's located near the busy arts district.

Absolutely incredible! Viva Las Arepas is hands-down one of the best spots in Vegas for authentic Venezuelan flavor.

From the moment you walk in, you can smell the wood-fired meats and fresh arepas sizzling on the grill. I ordered the reina pepiada and the carne asada arepa — both were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and stuffed to the brim. The arepas are crispy on the outside and soft inside — absolutely addictive.
