Finally found a Winchell's branch with pineapple & blueberry fritters! Unfortunately just large this time. Got pineapple.
Vegetarian options: Pretty much the donuts but there's a couple vegetarian sandwiches.
Recommended dishes: Apple Fritter, Breakfast Egg and Cheese, Blueberry, Toasted, Winchell's Donuts, Egg and and Cheddar Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches, Caramel Iced Coffee and Bagel Breakfast Sandwich

Went by today to pick up a dozen doughnuts for work and my first bite had a long piece of hair in it. It was one of the long twisted doughnuts. Won’t be going back there.

My family is to say the least, one that loves goodies. My mother 86 loves donuts and my family all inherited that craving. Just a normal day I was going to pick up donuts and meet my mother for coffee. I was going to go to K Kreams but a dozen (12) donuts all of which are simple bread covered in sugar glaze ( I wanted filled and cake types) were over 30 dollars. 😳 I said for that price they could keep them. I googled and went to Winchell’s on Decatur and got a dozen (13) all sorts for $17 and change. They were less money but oh so much better in taste than just air filled sugar bread. If you like donuts like we do, go get some of these and learn what a donuts taste like!!

Supposed to be 24 hours. But I guess the just choose when they want to be open. Cos more than once after midnight I've gone and they were closed. Nothing more disappointing let me tell you

Went there at 730 pm had to wait to get service. Then the guy had to keep going to the backroom. Then the donuts were dry and hard very disappointed. Got hyped for nothing
Can't go wrong with winchels. And being open 24 hours is perfect.. nice fresh warm tasty donuts.
