I've been eating Winchell's donuts since the late '60s because I had a paper out in Anaheim and every Saturday and Sunday morning all the paperboys met at Winchell's and I've had donuts now from everywhere and none are better than Winchell's

Finally found a Winchell's branch with pineapple & blueberry fritters! Unfortunately just large this time. Got pineapple.
Vegetarian options: Pretty much the donuts but there's a couple vegetarian sandwiches.
Recommended dishes: Apple Fritter, Breakfast Egg and Cheese, Blueberry, Toasted, Winchell's Donuts, Egg and and Cheddar Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches, Caramel Iced Coffee and Bagel Breakfast Sandwich

Went by today to pick up a dozen doughnuts for work and my first bite had a long piece of hair in it. It was one of the long twisted doughnuts. Won’t be going back there.
