My recent stay at Harrah’s was nothing short of a disappointing experience, and I feel compelled to share the details to warn fellow travelers. TLDR: Harrah’s operates like a scam. Despite booking and paying for a deluxe room, my party was downgraded to the cheapest model because, according to them, we didn’t check in earlier. This blame-shifting tactic was used to justify selling our reserved room to others. Shockingly, there was no notification or courtesy call to inquire about our arrival, leaving us stranded with a lower-tier room after paying for an elevated experience. This is reminiscent of shady behavior with budget airlines overselling seats. To add insult to injury, Harrah’s conveniently hides a $45/day “resort fee” in the fine print. While I acknowledge the importance of reading details, this feels like a deliberate attempt to squeeze more money from guests. Yes, they’re still employing that disreputable practice of overselling rooms, leaving guests at the mercy of profit-driven decisions. My check-in experience around 9 pm at the counter only highlighted the lack of customer-centric values at Harrah’s. In a world where trust in hospitality is paramount, Harrah’s falls short. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for those considering a stay at this establishment.

This has been one of the worst stays in a very long time! We were here for 4 days and housekeeping did not come by not even once! And with a family, we had no more clean towels, toilet paper. I called and called to ask for towels at least and nothing! I’m a Diamond player and it means nothing! Terrible!

This was one of our worst experiences with a Caesar’s property to date. Staff were not the most friendly, except some of the dealers. Floor supervisors were not keeping up with play, this lowered my avg gambling and reduced available comps. Wasn’t even offered any resort fees waived. Hospitality here has changed in 5 years, I will no longer go to Harrah’s when in Vegas!

Most of the nights we were there the service and amenities were great! The last night/day the hot water disappeared and the service elevators started breaking when they were already repairing the regular ones. So they’re doing some repairs right now but it is very central to everything and beautiful views on the strip and the mountains. The rooms are decorated simply but nice. I very much enjoyed staying here over the Tropicana.

I am giving ONE star because I have to. I made a yelp account JUST to leave this horrific review. To start, Bernadette in customer service is terrible and had the most atrocious attitude I have ever come in contact with during a hotel stay. Then the manager Johnny told me that they can't accommodate all of the rooms so I would have to sleep ON THE FLOOR. I then tried to get ahold of the front desk on the telephone and was told that they can't connect me and they aren't taking calls. WHAT?!?! They tried getting my information so that I was unable to leave a complaint and refused to let me speak to any type of upper management. I will NEVER stay at a Cesar's entertainment hotel or resort ever again. This was a negative 5 star review and I will make sure that NO ONE has to endure such a terrible stay and a ruined trip ever again. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone EVER. EDITING TO ADD MORE: Since we were told we had to sleep ON THE FLOOR we called for a few extra blankets, and they offered me TOWELS (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT THE ACTUAL F?!?!?!?!!) I will be calling the BBB and any other person I can complain to. This is TERRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS ABSOLUTE DUMP.

PROS: This hotel is cheap for the strip - maybe $100 cheaper than the hotels either side when I looked. I stayed in the Valley Tower on the 25th floor. The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom has a decent size walk-in shower and decent amenities. There is an empty fridge in the room for customer use (the paid items sit on the counter, begging you to take on and get the charge...). Despite the number of rooms, the 6 lifts available are very fast and I never waited more than 1 minute which was an unexpected surprise tbh. CONS: People can smoke in Vegas casinos - that isn't restricted to this hotel (though others seemed to smell less). Most importantly for Harrah's, the air con passes some of the smell into the rooms! This stale smell hit you every time you entered the room and was really unpleasant even though you got used to it after 5-10 mins. This would definitely put some people off entirely and it seemed to vary in strength from room to room (I stayed alongside other colleagues for a conference). The check-in experience was terrible. The machines were not working and those behind the desk were all bordering on rude (perhaps a long day given computer was saying no all day). I seemed to get charged a different despite agreeing a different rate upfront. I'm not sure if this is due to following daily currency fluctuations or something else. Also remember that Las Vegas adds taxes and resort fees onto the quoted price. You also pay $50 deposit per night, which you get back at the end. Overall, if I returned to Las Vegas, I would take my chances on a non-smoking room elsewhere.

We had a really nice time. The room was very nice, the staff friendly anf helpful. Parking was easy and there is plenty to see and do with in walking distance of the resort. We would highly recommend. And its even pet friendly!

Smooth check-in and lovely location. Centrally located in the strip. Good dinners inside the hotel. Casino experience was nice. Lots of big screens and high stakes. Hotel staffs were friendly and nice

The hotel was fantastic. Central, clean and all the amenities. There's the two stars. Unfortunately I suffered a medical emergency and am dismayed at how it was handled. I needed medical care. My daughter called front desk twice before they sent two security guards. All they did was call an ambulance at her request. Kept the door open while I was unclothed lying on the floor and extremely ill. Otherwise they stood around chatting about nothing. Three times she asked about the ambulance and they continuously said it was on its way up. It took some time because there were other priorities. Fine. Ambulance and stretcher came. She asked that our room be cleaned (we were on day 3 and hadn't had them clean it yet). The emergency left a mess which we would have been happy to pay for. This extended our stay a day. The room was secured for another night. Upon returning from hospital she called and asked 3 times for a wheelchair. It never came. Upon returning to our room, it wasn't cleaned. While I waited to get in the room, extremely ill, she had to stand in line for a long time to get the key activated and I had to wait downstairs in the very busy area of checkin. This is not a place I would recommend because of it. Its never happened to either of us before but I say beware as you never know when you need help, and this is not the place to get it. None of the important services we seeked were addressed.

Stay away from any games where Dru is the pit boss. This guy has no idea how to talk to people and makes for a very unpleasant gaming experience. Additionally our room reeked of smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. We waited (more than) two hours for housekeeping to verify the smell so we could change rooms and no one showed up or called.

Where do I start. Paid $50.00 for early check in (2 hours) Then paid $43.00 a day resort fee which never should have happened. The kicker was the PARKING!!!! I am platinum (not diamond) and paid $23.00 a day for parking! My room getting clean-pshhhh. Nothing was refilled as in coffee. WE NEED COFFEE.I am so sad because I am a HUGE Harrah's fan but this was too much! They don't even care-I tried to push back and was advised I can file a claim? To get some of my money back. The parking and resort fees at a minimum!

Location is 5 star. We were able to comfortably walk to our Seafood Buffet at the Wynn, the Sphere, Shops at the Venetian n Forum and Bellagio fountains, etc. Our double room was clean n seemed newly renovated. The pool was closed, but they let me use the neighbor hotel pool for float time. I was surprised they did not have ingredients to make the Harrahs Signature cocktail I ordered!? It was kind of funny, but hey it's Vegas so we just went to a different bar when coworker showed up. My hub n I had a lovely stay here and my experience given the business rate was exceptional value. If I'd have stayed at the Wynn I wouldn't have been able to afford their Buffet as their room rate was YIKES! over 1000 per night. Will definitely stay here again to save some cash....so I can spend more elsewhere. Thx Harrahs. Maybe stock those ingredients so I can try your signature cocktail next time.

Horrible customer service at the front desk and a supposed "clean" room that was not clean. First impressions make a difference and unfortunately, the first impression I received when checking into Harrah's was Janata. She was so unbelievably rude. I asked a question to a Front Desk rep and being that she didn't know the answer, she asked her co-worker (Janata) the question. Janata literally just walked on by ignoring her co-worker. The rep I was speaking to had to follow her and asked her the question 3 times, while I'm standing there, to get her to answer the question. She had a look of annoyance and arrogance when answering it seemed like she just did not want to be bothered. I don't expect those that work in customer service to be all smiles all the time, but to be annoyed about a customer question? Why work in customer service then??? Just doesn't make any sense. I went to stand in line after asking my question and of course I ended up being helped by Janata. Mind you, she did her job and got me checked in but she just really could not be bothered with anything else. I asked her a question about something else and once again, she gave me the impression that it was not her job to answer questions and so she directed me elsewhere. Once I got to my room and settled in, the TV remote is by the bed and I notice a dried up red stain/blob on the remote. It looked like dried hot sauce, all crusty. Gross to say the least. Then on one of my "clean" white towels, I see a very long pink string on it. TBH, if I saw this without having already seen the remote control, I wouldn't have thought to even mention it to anyone, but having seen the remote, I just had an overall feeling that housekeeping did the bare minimum when cleaning and did the big ticket items only. Harrah's, you need to do better!!!

11/5/23 to 11/07/23,Stayed here in an executive suite. It's okay, although not great. What I continue to not enjoy is all the smoking at the casinos, this one is no exception. The smoke tends to penetrate all the way up to the higher more expensive suites even to the 30th floor that we were on. It's crazy the cigarette smoke which makes all your clothes hanging in the closet smell nasty when you return home from your Las Vegas trip after just a couple days away.I also don't care for the bathroom not having a toilet door that closes and locks nor a shower that has more privacy. This open concept thing is totally ridiculous in the hotel bathrooms. Lastly, the curtains don't close all the way to block out the bright morning sun. So rise and shine early you sunflowers!

The location is good, the beds are pretty comfortable, and most of the staff are nice. That's the end of the nice things to say about this place, at least right now. Maybe it will be better once the construction is done? We had to use a service elevator our entire visit. We never got housekeeping, even though we went down and asked. One of our towels was visibly dirty and covered with hair when we checked in. They closed the lobby entrance while we were there, which made coming and going much more difficult, especially because one of the four elevators to get to the lobby was out of service for the last two days of our stay. The pool was closed for the season (nothing indoor). Wifi was spotty and you could only connect two devices. All this, and we still had to pay a "resort fee."
