This was a total hidden gem. Not easy to find and way off the strip but worth all of the effort. The staff was very good, the sushi chef was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of details about what we were eating, where it was from. The food was presented and executed very well. Lots of variety and a very large portion in total. Omakase is the only option on the menu so don’t expect to come in and order off menu. This omakase experience was very authentic and the food was top notch.
Great sushi and sake. The chef was very fun and knowledgeable. I loved the sake they paired with each course. I don't normally ask for seconds but my wife and I needed a second round of several pieces of fish. We've also had a lot of wagyu but this place was our favorite. We are excited to add this as another one of our stops on our future vegas trips!
Excellent sushi selection, fish was very fresh.
Not what I expected
A dining experience. Only do omakase if you can appreciate the flavors and artistry in each delicate dish. Fresh fish from Japan is what to come here for. The dessert was lovely but with my love of Japanese food I was a bit disappointed the options were apple pie and a strawberry layer cake. Even a mochi ice cream would have seemed better. Hospitality and warmth of the people working here made for a wonderful experience.
Favorite things: wagyu tartare...hokkaido uni...the oysters, the people were great too! Thank you
Expertly prepared food.

In A Nutshell:
-Yui Edomae Sushi was such a great find!
-Vegas has so many great sushi restaurants & Yui is definitely at or near the TOP of the list.
-Don't let the non-descript strip mall fool you.
-Once you're inside you are instantly transported to Japan.
-The small size of the restaurant w/ it modern, minimal design sets the right mood for a culinary art journey of 95% imported cuts from Japan.
-This is a place where you celebrate w/ someone who loves sushi/sashimi & rare seafood.
-They have 3 omakase menus ranging from $190+.
-The Gensen menu was a really good choice, its the $190 menu per person.
-The variety of dishes were profound & I left very joyful + stuffed.
-The sushi chef always had a smile in his face & he took great pride in serving us.
Overall, this is a very, very good sushi restaurant that is expensive but totally worth the money. Check out my photos!!

Spectacular sushi spot. I'd give it six stars if I could. Be aware, you could drive by this place and easily miss it. The restaurant is in a small commercial mall with several other businesses and the exterior is very understated. The interior of the restaurant is very classically Japanese, clean lines, simple designs, peaceful and tranquil. My party of five friends was lucky to grab seats at the sushi bar to watch the chefs work, which I would recommend to anyone. Every bite of sushi was more amazing than the last as we worked our way through the multi-course omakase. Fatty tuna, wagyu beef, sea urchin, blowfish, abalone, and more. The presentation of the pieces was spectacular and the fish was super fresh. The staff were helpful, super attentive, and made our experience delightful. This restaurant is now on my list of places I will always stop at when in Vegas. It was admittedly expensive, if you include the sake pairing with the omakase the price can get pretty steep, but dinner was a sushi experience worth every penny.

Absolutely an amazing experience. My husband and I went here for dinner. Walking in, you would never guess the experience that you would have happen that evening. The location is not fancy and it is very simple. There are 12 Seats at the sushi bar and three tables that can accommodate four people at each table. We decided to have the chef choice and the food was fantastic. We did not do the wine pairing, but did kick things off with a We did not do the wine pairing, but did kick things off with an excellent sake. The selection of fish is very very fresh and you will find options on the menu that you cannot get other sushi restaurant location. Most of the fish is flown in from different places from around the world. Definitely worth the splurge and you have to remember you’re in Vegas!

The quality of ingredients and preparation of the food is excellent. The house made orange infused sake was amazing. The service is very good. The decor is minimalist which is typical. Some minor details can be improved in the decor for an establishment in this price bracket. Signs of wear on the walls, bathroom soap is that pink stuff.
