Overall rating is lower based on 45 minute wait. We ate here twice during our stay. Both times there was a long wait to be sat at the table, another time we went elsewhere. Table service was great and food was good, as expected. We ordered from the specials which are a great value. Jay was our server and he anticipated our needs in advance. Lovely view of the river. Thanks to everyone who fed us this morning. :-)

We waited over an hour in line to get in, so we expected something good. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Our server was great, though I forgot her name. Very friendly and sweet. We did get a river view table, but all the shades were down so we couldn’t really see it. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and the color of the Hollandaise was some very bright, acid yellow sprinkled with a lot of paprika. It wasn’t hot, the taste was average, and the price was $15. The coffee was good and our server kept the refills coming. My husband got a biscuits and gravy and eggs combo, which again was very average and lukewarm. Will I go back? No. I was expecting something much better for the line of 50-60 people waiting to get in.

The whole reason we came was for the Monte Cristo sandwich, which was listed online as available, but they don't have them any more, per the wait staff they stopped serving them quite a while ago. Boo hiss maybe they should update their webpage

My group of four people came here for breakfast. It wasn't a good dining experience. We were moved twice from the original table where we were seated to try to be served. It took about an hour before anybody came to take our orders. And our food (3 ordered pot roast meals and 1 ordered pancakes) was cold by the time it made it to our table. Maybe this experience was a one-off. But it didn't help that the service staff when approached showed indifference or didn't seem to care.

Just waited 30 minute looking at a empty resturant , they wouldnt seat us . Very slow people . Dont waste your time . I walked out ,never tryed the food . Or gambled . If this is how you treat people i wont give you any money .

I have eaten here for years. For the most part it's a good place to sit and view the Colorado River. You can visit and watch a Football game on the two tvs large enough to see from nearly any table on the restaurant. Service is a little slow but like most business now days, they can only afford so many staff members. One of the best bus people is David who is always busy cleaning up tables and making room for the next guests. As a person with nearly 50 years of experience in managing people providing customer service. My suggestion would be for the staff to have more emphasis on cheeriness and smiling. That's what brings the tips.
Food was good price was excellent we got the double cheeseburger special. Service was good. Our waitress in training was excellent! The issue is the flow. We waited in line for 40 minutes to be seated while they had several guest leave and several empty tables. They need a floor mgr. they had plenty of severs/cleaners on the floor and standing up at the counter so it was confusing as to why no one was getting seated. Once they get the flow down it should be great….

Prime rib special was absolutely awful!! After waiting in line for an hour ordered the Prime rib special and it was so tough you could not eat it. Server was nice and fast but food absolutely awful!! Never again.
