I ordered a veggie dish with grilled chicken on a bed of rice, when we finally got our food, the melted cheese looked like scrambled eggs, the chicken too dry, so I asked for salsa and some lemons, but didn't arrived until we got the waiter's attention and reminded him. Definitely not the same food/service as last time we were here, and will not come back again.
Good good nice atmosphere decorations
Always a good experience
We had a party of 7. One individual was gluten free due to celiac. I called previously, was informed that they didn't have a separate menu, but that all servers were very knowledgeable about the allergy and that they would be abl to help with menu choices. our server didn't even understand what gluten free meant, let alone what items would be suitable choices. Once meals began to arrive 5 of the 7 were brought. After numerous requests, The 6th meal was brought when all others were a 1/4 of the way done with their meals. When the 7th meal arrived the others were 3/4 of the way done with meals. The food was bland, no seasoning. Had to ask several time for drinks, only received one refill during entire meal. One person ordered red macadamia beef with corn tortillas. It was shredded beef with onions and peppers. No sauce, no seasoning, no spice, no flavor, not even salt was used with cooking and no corn tortillas. I personally ordered the pork green chili it was chunks of pork that had a lot of unrendered fat attached. After cutting off the fat. I had maybe 6 pieces about 1/2 in chunks. A few onions and a4 pieces of green chili. No sauce, no flavor or spice. 2 sodas, 2 tea, 1 lemonade , 2 waters. Bill came to $164.xx. tge bill already had 18% tip added to it. When I went to pay, after waiting 15 min for hostess , she took the bill and asked for my payment. I said to her aren't you even going to ask how our meal was. Then she did, I explained all of the issues we had. She said you should have come to me at the time you the issues occurred and I could have taken care of it for you not after the fact. One I'm sorry. She took my card and the charge to my card was 174.xx. I asked why, I was informed that there was a 4.5 % increase when paying by debit or credit card. I told her to reverse back charge to my card and I paid by cash. She didn't even take a meal off of bill. I informed her that if the 18% tip wasn't on there, the server would have made nothing near 18% tip. There was ONE PLUS, the salsa was not half bad. Chips were only so,so.
Shrimp cocktails are not worth it. You only get 4 shrimps for 15.99, and the rest of the cocktail is pour veggies.

Adela was amazing, we loved the steak and fish tacos and the deep fried ice cream was the perfect dessert.

Greasy food with not a lot of flavor. Never offered desert and then didn't let you know there was a 4% charge on your card, had to ask and they said "O ya there is a charge". We will not be back.

Bartender spent all his time flirting with waitress young enough to be his daughter. Couldn't get him to serve me a beer on tap.

I was torn between getting the fajitas option or a combo dinner. Ultimately, I went for the latter consisting of an Enchilada Ranchera with machaca (shredded beef with peppers) and a pork tamale with a side of beans and rice.
The rice could have been hotter and even the enchilada felt a bit close to lukewarm. The enchilada was pretty good as was the pork tamale; both had some pretty tender meat.
When they served chips and salsa, they served two different kinds of salsa, one being spicier than the other. I appreciated that variety.
The service was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive to our wants and answered our questions with ease.
Overall, Casa Serrano wasn’t bad. It could be better but it wasn’t bad either.
Vegetarian options: Most if not all dishes had some kind of meat in them. I would not recommend this place for vegetarians.

My girlfriend and I really liked the food here. I got the chicken fajitas. Everything was tasty and fully presented and sizzling. The front of house staff had a good rhythm during rush hour. it was busy as heck but things came through in a well timed manner. At 5 o'clock pm a couple can get in and out in an hour and hour and a half depending on the drink order quantity. I would eat here again.
Wheelchair accessibility: Doors looked better than 42 wide plenty of seating to accommodate.

The food is OK. But charging nearly 5 bucks for a fountain drink is unacceptable. We won't be back.
