I was torn between getting the fajitas option or a combo dinner. Ultimately, I went for the latter consisting of an Enchilada Ranchera with machaca (shredded beef with peppers) and a pork tamale with a side of beans and rice.
The rice could have been hotter and even the enchilada felt a bit close to lukewarm. The enchilada was pretty good as was the pork tamale; both had some pretty tender meat.
When they served chips and salsa, they served two different kinds of salsa, one being spicier than the other. I appreciated that variety.
The service was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive to our wants and answered our questions with ease.
Overall, Casa Serrano wasn’t bad. It could be better but it wasn’t bad either.
Vegetarian options: Most if not all dishes had some kind of meat in them. I would not recommend this place for vegetarians.

My girlfriend and I really liked the food here. I got the chicken fajitas. Everything was tasty and fully presented and sizzling. The front of house staff had a good rhythm during rush hour. it was busy as heck but things came through in a well timed manner. At 5 o'clock pm a couple can get in and out in an hour and hour and a half depending on the drink order quantity. I would eat here again.
Wheelchair accessibility: Doors looked better than 42 wide plenty of seating to accommodate.

We ordered our food my husband got his I received mine I ordered carnitas plate...I ate some in a flour tortilla was good but decided to just eat with fork I took a bite full of food. And crunch a bone fragment saw my waiter ..was not busy there he took it to kitchen never offered me anything else brought bill. So I fumbled thru the meat almost done and bam another sharp bone fragment in my mouth stuck my tooth and gum...found waiter again gave him the bone fragment...went to pay and refused to pay my meal...I paid my husband's....I was told by the lady in charge that you should always expect bone pieces in your meal because it's carnitas..it was not posted in the description that bone fragments were part of the meal..I have NEVER had that at any other Mexican restaurant. Highly do not recommend!!!!!

Was Excellent Dining experience there. But they definitely need to get somemore help. The cashier/ Bartender/ Greater/ Bus table lady was working her heart out and the waiters were doing work of five. Definitely short staff and did see a few who got tired of waiting walk away. Need a few extra part time waiters and if not needed that evening do a rotation and send a different 1 home on off nights so the weekly pay will be spread even between the waiters. As you have excellent food and prices . But do lack in Service to the guest. Had to wait to get a place setting after I spoke up and food had been delivered. Place setting should there or place the minute you sit down.
