Although I was not expecting a buffet it still was a sit-down serve dinner. The prime rib was excellent the service as well and the view was gorgeous.
This is the best prime rib dinner in Laughlin! The Prime Rib Room has a terrific view of the river, especially at sunset.
I strongly suggest a reservation but we were fortunate to be able to have only a short wait as walk-ins. We had a cocktail at the bar and were seated pretty quickly.
The salad bar and buffet of sides was top-notch. Everything was of good quality and we struggled to save enough room for the prime rib. The prime rib was delivered table-side and it was delicious!
The staff provides a wonderful experience! The Prime Rib Room is at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and it’s tucked in the back corner…but it’s worth the walk!
Great selections of sides prime rib was delicious!
Mary and Matthew were very attentive and always making sure our order was correct, they had excellent customer service!!
We had a great experience at the restaurant recently. I wish I got the name of our waiter who helped us he was so kind and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Just really friendly and welcoming. And the prime rib server James, who brought out the Prime Rib, was excellent. Super attentive, knew the menu well, and made the whole dinner even better. You can tell they care about giving good service. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to when we go back to Laughlin.

Resort was cool, food at all venues was good. Issue we had was with return trip being a complete cluster. Heard different things from different people as to what the actual problem was. Left our room at 5:45AM Sunday morning for an 8:00AM flight, retrieved our luggage in MN at 7:54AM Monday morning. That was after about 6.5 hours either sitting in a bus at the airport, riding in a bus from Laughlin to Las Vegas, or sitting in the plane on the runway waiting for our luggage, or fuel. The flight showed up on FlightAware, and was shown as on time until after departure time, then it showed as scheduled. The flight was never viewable on the Sun Country site. Flights were 8011 to Laughlin, and 8016 returning.
Sun country and Riverside have absolutely dropped the ball this weekend. Plane gets delayed from 8am til 11 am due to a diversion due to an airplane issue. Almost 0 communication from Riverside or Sun Country from here on out. It’s now 5:12 pm and we are waiting to get on busses to Las Vegas to fly back to MSP. No direction on what to do once we get to Vegas. Both companies have told us to contact the other company for compensation for this huge mess up. Very likely my last time coming unless someone takes accountability.
If you’re ever in Laughlin, Nevada and you stop by the Riverside Casino, the Prime Rib Room is an excellent spot for dinner.
To be clear, you must make reservations to dine here.
And as the restaurant’s name suggests, the prime rib is their specialty. While it has a fair amount of fat on it, it’s very tasty. The servers will also ask if you want mushrooms or horseradish (mild or hot) with your meat. Be warned though: the hot horseradish is HOT.
The salad bar was about what you would expect but they did have some good watermelon and cantaloupe chunks available. The potato bar and side bar had lots of variety; I found the dishes I tried to be good quality.
As for the dessert bar, I would advise against eating the cannolis since they tasted dry and the cream inside wasn’t sweet. The other desserts were better like the cheesecake and brownies.
I’d like to thank the wait staff for being so attentive to my group and offer thanks to Kevin, the guy who served us prime rib from the cart. He had a great sense of humor and pleasant demeanor that made my dining experience here even more worthwhile.
If I get the chance, I’ll make sure to reserve another dinner at the Prime Rib Room.
Vegetarian options: This location is known as the Prime Rib Room for a reason. The main entrees all involve some form of meat. I would recommend vegetarians look elsewhere.

We are seniors and have been coming to The Riverside for years but never new about the Prime Rib Room. What an awesome experience for such an excellent value!
We celebrated my brother's 70th birthday there. He & his wife had been there many times & introduced us to the feast. We plan to return for my husband & cousins 75th birthday in Oct. Reservations are a must & no matter the number waiting, it moves fast & the entire staff is pleasant and efficient!
Thank you Riverside Hotel & Casino and Don Laughlin's Legacy continues!!

First time here. Food was just so so. Wouldn't recommend although service was friendly. We didn't know there were only 3 entrees to choose from, and the rest is a buffet. We would not go here again.

No ew like the food tasted bad I heard that they had more food I don’t know what happened I remember I came in the past and it was delicious but now they changed it and the service was horrible except one old lady she was the nicest one and the atmosphere why worry about that it was normal but the rest it was a horrible experience I don’t recommend go there.

Options prime rib, cordon bleu and fish for same price. I opted for fish. It was a square piece of salmon with unknown spices extremely overcooked served with two packets of tartar sauce. Same price as prime rib. No where near the same quality. If option is overcooked frozen salmon then maybe dont offer that as an option. Unable to eat the fish. Others in my party ordered prime rib and they were happy. I was disappointed and wont be going back.
