Resort was cool, food at all venues was good. Issue we had was with return trip being a complete cluster. Heard different things from different people as to what the actual problem was.
Left our room at 5:45AM Sunday morning for an 8:00AM flight, retrieved our luggage in MN at 7:54AM Monday morning. That was after about 6.5 hours either sitting in a bus at the airport, riding in a bus from Laughlin to Las Vegas, or sitting in the plane on the runway waiting for our luggage, or fuel. The flight showed up on FlightAware, and was shown as on time until after departure time, then it showed as scheduled. The flight was never viewable on the Sun Country site. Flights were 8011 to Laughlin, and 8016 returning.

Sun country and Riverside have absolutely dropped the ball this weekend.
Plane gets delayed from 8am til 11 am due to a diversion due to an airplane issue. Almost 0 communication from Riverside or Sun Country from here on out. It’s now 5:12 pm and we are waiting to get on busses to Las Vegas to fly back to MSP. No direction on what to do once we get to Vegas.
Both companies have told us to contact the other company for compensation for this huge mess up. Very likely my last time coming unless someone takes accountability.

The good: great view of the Colorado River with floor to ceiling windows. The bad: outdated, tired decor. Needs a refresh The ugly: breakfast skillet was unedible, eggs were cold on top of nasty old meat and potatoes.

We went to this restaurant for NY Eve. The view was magnificent. The food delicious and the waiter was attentive.

Out of the places we ate at in Laughlin this was by far the best. When we got to the stand we were greeted and asked how your day was going, then asked if we had a preference on a table or booth. After we sat down we were promptly greeted by the server assistant and asked what we would like to drink. The server gave us enough time to look over the menu before asking if we were ready to order, our food came out pretty quick it was maybe a 5-8 min wait and came out hot. Food was delicious and hot
Fish n chips dinner. Fish was ok but portion for a dinner was lousy n fries sucked. No malt vinegar n only a plastic cup for tartar sauce. Not coming back n wouldn't recommend

The food felt like it was made with hate, and the small glass for your drink means if you waiter stinks you won't be able to get a refill. This was the worst buffet I ever been to.
Also my waiter only refill my drink once, I have eaten 3 plates before he refilled it

Two tables in the restaurant I was sat immediately and the busser got my water and said the server would be with me shortly. Fifteen minutes later, no sign of anyone. It was 830 by the way and they close at 11. So I leave, HUNGRY. I'm tired of people wanting my business and wanting tipped but are unwilling to even meet a minimum standard. I'm also tired of management saying it's hard to get people. IDEA why not train the people that you have and incentivise great service. The bare minimum is unacceptable if you want my business and my money.
