So many have hyped this place up. Our first time we weren't a fan, gave them another shot and it was even worse. Service was great, but the food was not worth the price. If I'm going to pay $200 for a meal I want it to taste like a $200 meal.

This was a very disappointing visit as compared to past meals. The service was very slow and serving of the meal. When the filet arrived it was cold as was the baked potato.

I made this reservation a month or so in advance and requested a window. The hostess, Cheryl, who was pretty short and cold right off the bat, sat us at a two top upstairs so I asked about the empty tables by the window & she was quick to cut me off and explain that they're reserved for larger parties (4tops) but ignored the two top that was paying and getting ready to leave. She didn't seat that two top for over an hour and every guest we watched her seat, she asked them if they wanted a booth or table (including the open two top by the window) and told them to enjoy their meal. We did not get such warmth - it felt like I did something to offend her - or maybe she's just an angry person in general. Thank God for Ramona, our server, she was amazing and saved the night. I feel bad that she has to work with a hostess like that.

We went to the Range to celebrate my birthday. No one wished me a happy birthday or acknowledged it nor did I receive a complimentary desert or drink. The rest was not busy but the staff did not seem to pay as much attention to us as they have in the many other times we have had dinner there I ordered a 14oz New York strip which I have had there many times and it was grizzly and chewy and not one person asked me how my steak was even when I left the grizzle half chewed and more of it cut away from the steak and left 5 ounces of steak on the plate My wife and I were very disappointed and will probably not go back to the Range again because of the poor service and the grizzle on the steak and the staff not acknowledging my birthday Like I said we have dined there many times over the years but this was our worst experience

Filet minion was good. More rare than preferred. Ceasars salad was good. Did not care for augraten potatoes. Other entre was a crab, shrimp and fish in sauce (had scampi sauce instead of spicy tomato) and linguine noodles. Crab was good, shrimp was tough, did not care for fish and sauce. Went here for birthday dinner. Had gone there last year too. Was disappointed with food this time. Last year received complimentary dessert but not this year. Service was good but do not think we will be going back due to food and prices.

A lovely place for dinner and such a nice view. Our waiter Nick was exceptional and the food was amazing.

The restaurant, the ambience and the staff, all top notch! The food is very tasty, steak cooked as ordered.....however the filet mignon was dry and a little tough(chewy) so was disappointed, expected better, and have had better there.

Always make sure we have dinner here when staying at Harrah's. Once again it did not disappoint. Great service and great food. Love the river view.

Food was excellent. My husband & I shared the crab cakes for our appetizer and we thought they were very good. I ordered the filet mignon for my entree and it was very tender and delicious. My husband ordered his filet with Bearnaise sauce, which was excellent. And we absolutely loved the Au Gratin potatoes! The atmosphere was wonderful with a great view of the river. The service was excellent! I believe Nick was the name of our waiter. I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary when I made the reservation and they sat us in a comfy booth with a wonderful view. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the The Range Steakhouse and highly recommend it.

Great service from the time we walked in. Very friendly and helpful when it started raining hard and our friends got stuck in the parking structure and the elevators and stairs got flooded. Sat us and waited for them to arrive 30 minutes later. Veery special group of individuals and service were very patient and supportive. Thank you for a great evening!
