We had breakfast at La Fonda, and for the price we got a large portion of hot, delicious, homemade style plate of tasty Mexican food.
When we go to a Mexican restaurant we always judge the food my how well they cook the Spanish rice, and this was just like how my wife and mom use to make it.
When we are in Overton again we will surely stop here.
Everything was delicious and portion sizes were large so we could take some extras home with us.
Amazing food, one of the best burritos I've had in awhile. The service was amazing and our waitress was so kind. Definitely a must when passing through.
What a great roadside gem. We stopped by for lunch while visiting the valley of fire. The service was. quick and the food was so good. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we’ve seen in our travels!! We had the chilaquiles and breakfast burrito and would recommend both. Thank you for a great experience.
If you feel like wasting your money on a half serving of mediocre dog food this is the place to go.
Randomly saw this place on the side of the road on our way to Utah and decided to go in. The staff were friendly and the food was quite good.
After a long day on the road, and at the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel, we had dinner at La Fonda Mexican Food restaurant. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. Our food was hot and plentiful. I ordered the Taco Salad. It was massive and I couldn't finish it. My wife ordered the Senior Taco dinnner. We both agreed that the food was average. It needed a bit more seasoning. Everything was OK and the place was convenient to where we were staying.
Service was incredible. It wasn’t too busy at the time, but food was out in a matter of minutes. Portions were plenty big, and everything was delicious. Drinks were great too, recommend the mojito on a hot day. Also, if you’re a fan of salsa with a kick, make sure to get the hot salsa.
Good little Mexican restaurant.

Food was bland and without flavor. Ordered a taco salad and received what looked to be a good size salad with a single scoop of sloppy flavorless shredded beef. The rest of the salad got soggy and inedible. The Relano and Enchilada were also lackluster. At least the kids quesadilla and chicken fingers were edible. The prices were insanely high for lackluster food. Save some money and go to one of the burger joints. Saving grace was the salsa for the chips. But only expect one small bowl of chips if you want more you have to pay another 8 dollars for a basket of chips ...

Simple Mexican food - right next to the only hotel in town within a 3-minute walk. Great service and ambience. Ideal for a transit.
