Tejaro Mexican Grill, located next to The Camp Bar in Washoe Valley, is an amazing little gem known for its friendly staff, excellent food, and huge portions. They offer the best shrimp enchiladas in Reno, giant burritos the size of footballs, and delicious tacos with hot sauce that’s actually hot. The Al pastor is on point every time, and don’t forget the creamy flan for dessert. The workers are always friendly and attentive, even calling back if they miss an order. Vegetarian options are available, and parking is easy. Highly recommended, though they close right before Thanksgiving and return in February/March.
