I'm not a rider but a camper. We arrived Monday, April 8 and left Friday, April 12. It was nice early in the week but by Thursday it was loud and dusty. It was our first experience being around side by sides. Early in the week it was pretty quiet and relaxing. We noticed a lot of trash scattered everywhere so I took it upon myself to fill about 4 hefty trash bags full and placed them inside the trash bins. I thought South Carolina was trashed but it seems everywhere I went on this 10 week excursion I saw trash everywhere, from beer cans and bottles to empty cartridges and everythingin between. Even Montana. So sad. Beautiful area otherwise.

Absolutely beautiful and pristine network of trails winding in and out of the red rocks. I came here on a hot June day (108') with my stock Wrangler Sahara 4xe. Didn't have any trouble. We did the main 13 mile loop. Any 4x4 with decent clearance can do it -- there's just one somewhat intimidating rocky hill. Check OnX. Don't forget to check out the petroglyphs and pack a TON of water.

I can't believe this place is not part of a National Park or a Monument. It's beautiful and free and in between cities like Las Vegas and St. George, UT. We stopped here on our way to Zion, and it was one of our favorite parts of the trip. I would come back to stay a little longer.
