We had a wonderful Italian dinner here. Fresh, steaming hot, delicious and satisfying. We had the Calamari, Pasta Bolognese with Meatballs and Chicken Parmesan.
First off, EVERYTHING is fresh, hot and unique. Calamari was perfectly breaded and fried with the batter NEVER falling off the squid. The dipping sauce was beautifully balanced with richness, tang, sweet and spice. The pasta Bolognese was divine with rich garlic flavor, strong meatiness and nicely balanced with tomato. The meatballs were very good, but drier than I liked; perhaps some sourdough bread mixed into the meatballs with buttermilk would be a good addition. The Chicken Parmesan was lemon forward, but without the sourness; the chef did a wonderful job of bringing out the fruit and aromatic nature of the lemon rather than the sourness. The Chicken was prepped perfectly; extremely tender and satisfying. My only complaint would be to add more chicken to match the amount of pasta.
We cleaned off each and every plate. It was delicious. And kudos to the service staff. It was a busy night but there was only one server and she worked the tables perfectly. Well done!
My sole complaint would be to refurbish the furnishings. It is old, dusty and broken here and there. And simply removing much of the decorations would be a great step.
We will DEFINITELY be back.

I wanted to take my kids out to eat that wasn’t Denny’s for once and support something more locally owned. We were greeted and seated quickly. They didn’t to be that busy, after all the place is kind of small with not many tables. That didn’t stop the waitress to take a while to get to our table to take just our drink order. Then I felt rushed to be ready to place our food order. But as she took our order she plopped herself down on the bench next to my son. As she got up after taking our order she seemed bothered we were there. I forgot to add something to our Oder and asked if I could add it and even though she said yes, she again seemed bothered by my request (spoiler alert, I did not get that item). Once we get our food, we don’t see her until she’s ready to give us our check. I had to stop eating bc I got thirsty and didn’t have anything to drink. She didn’t offer to refill my drink when she dropped off our food but was sure to ask if I wanted a refill drink to go though. I heard her assisting the other tables but not ours. Needless to say, I was less than impressed with this place. The food was okay. But the service was so much worse. And the service alone will keep me from spending any money at this place again, whether it be dine in or take out. I’d rather go to a place that appreciates their customers instead of feeling like an inconvenience. Do better!!
