Went there today. Had tacos. Ground beef was bad, I mean I had to split it out, wait person said it's fine. But my friend also tryed it and had to discard it also.. I won't be back. Don't try the organ meat. meat is hard and tuff. Worst ever...

Wow! This is a very good restaurant. I really enjoyed the vegetable burrito. It is hearty considering it does not have meat. Great service and the margaritas are perfect. Highly recommended!

El Jefe’s – Great Mexican Food & Excellent Cadillac Margaritas

El Jefe’s in Pahrump, Nevada, is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican food with a welcoming atmosphere and great service. From the moment you walk in, the good vibe sets the stage for a delicious meal.

The food is flavorful and well-prepared, with generous portions that make it worth every penny. The shredded beef tacos are tender and packed with flavor, while the carne asada nachos are a standout, loaded with toppings and perfect for sharing.

One of the biggest highlights? Their Cadillac Margarita is excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and just the right mix of sweet and strong. It’s the perfect drink to pair with their delicious menu.

The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need without being intrusive. Whether you're a local or just passing through, El Jefe’s is a must-visit for anyone craving great Mexican food and top-tier margaritas in Pahrump.

This was the first time that I had eaten here. The food is absolutely awesome but you will wait for it. Not enough dining room staff.

Getting our food was slower than molasses in January.
Never going back.

Honestly, it was truly disgusting. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was the worst tasting food I have ever had. I should have sent it back after the first bite. The burrito had tough gray grizzely meat, rice and beans in a tortilla and a very Funky taste like spolied meat or something nasty. The server was disengaged and never returned to the table to ask how the food was or if we needed anything....ever. Really horrible

Either location is a great place for lunch. We tend to like the Calvada location better for dinner. Same owners and same great food.
