Truthfully, I hate to write this as a long time local and a former graduate at PVHS I’ve never ever felt the way I did yesterday at the golden harvest cafe. My wife and I now in our late 30s have put on some weight. (Eating very well might I add ) lol our server last night was very unforgiving in asking my wife how far along she was. And when my wife mentioned she was not pregnant she just laughed and shrugged it off and on multiple occasions came over to us to complain about the kitchen staff and her other server, multiple complaints about how she could do better. WE DID NOT CARE we wanted to eat and be left alone after the pregnancy comment. Kept coming around to talk but filled our drinks one time. Due to our experience with our server Patty we will not be returning and will differ friends and family. I’ve always held this place with high standards but this was a dirt poor performance.

We have eaten there on a previous trip and it was really good! We were there on 7/12/25 and it took a few minutes to get seated because they were short on servers but it was dead.. Server had zero personality.. My beef dip was severely lacking in meat and it was overcook beef, crunchy tiny pieces!! Prices were great!!!! The other food we ordered looked good!! A prime rib for $24!! Not bad!!! Definitely would go again, just not the beef dip...

Host made it very clear he was displeased in servicing my (foreign) family as they so audibly described the food tickets. Made us wait 20 min to sit when it was dead. (3 tables with 2 servers) I'd give it a -0 if I could . We asked for a booth. He sat us at a table. Food was trash. I wouldn't be surprised if they did something to our food.

It always seems to take a while to get seated and get waited on here but it is usually worth the patience. It's definitely the best steak and eggs in town and the prices are more than fair. Then there is the extra bonus of a casino, bowling alley, Jimmy John's and Pink Box donuts all in the same complex. There is also plenty of free parking.

Shockingly bad food prep.
-Chowder was maybe 80deg, only had 2 tiny bits of potato in the bowl, and it was rancid with pepper. Inedible.
- fries, room temp, not crispy.
- fish was undercooked, soggy breading
Not 1 f was given in the prep. Staff unapologetic / indifferent.

stopped by to get the breakfast at 7:30 in the morning and they already had one waitress on break. we waited for a little bit and then decided to get on the road. I guess we'll try this place a different day.

It would have been better if the food was served hot, specially the biscuits & gravey.

Always good food, nice waitress and never a wait

This was our second time trying this Cafe & after the attitude from the server the first time we shouldn't have given them a second chance. It was a slow Monday night and it took 45 minutes to get our salad & burger. Yes I did time it after hearing other tables complaining about the wait. They seem to prioritize the casino employee ToGo orders more than customers & hotel guests. Will not be returning.

The hostess was rude and told us we could go elsewhere the worst place in pahrump

We attempted to have lunch here today. The hostess said I a seat you in 5 minutes. She placed our name on a list. There may have been one table filled. But ok we’ll wait. The hostess then spent time stapling things at the cashier stand. Then some other casino employees came in and the 3 of them stood around talking & laughing for a while. Long enough for my husband to get annoyed. We decided to go elsewhere rather than be ignored while you chat. We weren’t all the way out into the casino when she scurried over to cross our name off the list.

The worst food in the USA I've ever eaten. The waitress was very nice.
