I like the choices on the menu. I went there a few weeks ago. Food tasted very good. Casino has been changed, and they took out lots of video machines, which I don't like. Nice place.

The food is really good bar food. Cant call ahead and order food to go. My friend and I sat at the bar, about 10 minutes later, server took our to-go order, approximately 40 minutes later our take-out boxes were ready. It's good if you have time to sit, drink, gamble but not if you have a busy day.

We were told to sit anywhere at ten to two in the afternoon on Monday, March 18th. After we had started ourselves, were told by a woman who was not the hostess nor a wait person, we would have to move to a smaller table in case a big group came in. So we had to sit smack in the middle of the room. The young waitress was lovely and pleasant.The Ruben sandwich may have been excellent if the oil they grilled the bread with had not been rancid. The onion rings were crunchy!One worker took a glass with her bare hands and scooped the ice out of the ice bin with the glass. That breaks a few codes.We used to love Irene's. But the last few visits have been extremely disappointing. An apparently Emergency fill-in bar tender have us margaritas in tiny plastic cups. There was no alcohol nor mixer, just ice and a little lime. No salt on the rim. Then the "bartender" decided she would put them in tall skinny glasses with lots of salt. We opted for chardonnay.We hope they work out their problems.
