This place is a 5 star accross the board for me. The best sub I've had since making my own while working at a chain sub shop. The building is so authentic I love it.

Traveling across Nevada, we stopped in small town called Pioche, and we found one place in business to serve lunch. It was called The GunSlinger. It was a rustic old place. Perfect! Our kind of place. Only three tables in the place and two were occupied by some locals. We ordered the Bandito's Taco. It was delicious and filling. Highly recommend that you go out of your way to find this place.

Stopped by while exploring in the area. They have a limited menu, but it’s all the basics that you need for a good lunch. We tried all of the tacos. And two milkshakes. They were quite yummy! Tacos could use a little bit more seasoning, but overall it was a really good meal for under $25. Forgot to grab any photos.

Food was really good. I had a ham sandwich on a Hoagie roll. The bread was really fresh & soft! My brother had pork tacos and said they were really good! Be prepared to be patient, they get busy at lunchtime and there's only 1 person in the back preparing the food. It's worth the wait, so if you're in a hurry, try to slow down & enjoy the atmosphere.

Surprisingly really good sandwiches can be had here as well as a host of treats such as ice cream, malts and other deserts. My wife and I pulled into town on our long drive down the 93 and on a Tuesday afternoon and hoping to grab some lunch. As we came to find, this was the only place open and serving food but after dining here, I can honestly say that it'll be a first pick in the future. In spite of kind of being out in the middle of nowhere Nevada, the Johnny Ringo roast beef sandwiches we ordered were super fresh, on delicious bread and all the fixing just tasty as can be. Of course, the young girl serving us was very pleasant and friendly and quick to take care of us. Originally, we were just going to order food and head out but the atmosphere of the historic building was so cool, we decided to dine in and enjoy the sounds it made as the wind blew across it. Need I say, this is definitely a place I would recommend you try.

Gunslingers focuses on specialties that they craft with excellence. Gunslinger subs, tacos, and malt shakes are shockingly good. It is shocking that this very small restaurant produces such good food! It is an oasis in the desert. My sub sandwich put chain sub sandwich restaurants to shame. And the price was reasonable!
Be forwarded that the seating area is tiny, with only 3 tables inside and there is no public restroom. Also, locals know that Gunslingers food is awesome, so business is brisk at lunchtime. If you go in knowing this, you will not be disappointed because the food is worth it. The atmosphere is fun too!

Ozark Campfire Coffee Co. near Yellville, Arkansas was great! It's new so the couple who own it are starting this new venture and we wish them great success. Very nice; coffee and tea was good along with some pastries we had. Check it out when in the area.
