I feelt like a down-home even if I look like a tourist? Everyone knows everyone super friendly bar and the drinks are dirt cheap. The food is from the food truck next-door and is great quality as well. You order and then they bring it. I would highly recommend this bar to anybody coming to visit Sandy valley. Feels like the old west....on oasis in the Nevada desert. The server was 5 stars.
When you see a saloon, you might be skeptical. However, we pick a table, got some menus, went outside to the food trailer. Yes, food trailer. Ordered... Waited. And BAM! She come walking in with our order. Amazed at the portion sizes. Amazing Valley of Fire Burger, huge beef enchilada plate, giant chicken fingers, and huge cheese burger. Was also had a basket of onion rings and mozzarella sticks. We took most if it home and 3 more meals. The pay off was awesome. We'll definitely...
Love the story, that in the Gangster days when things got to hot in Vegas they would head to the Idle Spur until things cooled down..
