I had a good time here with my family. Had the appetizer sampler and a couple of beers. My Mom had a glass of wine. It was pretty chill when we went, so we didn't have to elbow our way in for a seat. They validated our parking as well.

The legendary - it was drenched in BBQ sauce and hard to enjoy. The Mac n Cheese - don’t believe the hype it would be more cost efficient and taste better if you get a cheeseburger and a side of mac n cheese. Mac n cheese was dry and the whole thing needed a bit of salt. The watermelon mojito was watered down with no mojito and I had to ask for the drink to then find out they were finding the watermelon flavor. I honestly think they were low they drizzled what was left and called it an evening. It was disappointing to spend $15 on that drink. However, we were a big party and appreciate the seating accomodations.
Kid-friendliness: They didn’t mind kids inside or out.

First time here during my stay, had great service by the bartender Sean? This visit here, came in and no one helped me. I watched the bartender, and 2 servers walk past me and help others right in front of me. After about 15 min a waiter finally came over and asked if I had been helped….mind you he seen me walk in and walked past me multiple times. I asked to speak to the manager….she had zero regard for the poor customer service. Literally said so what can I do for you? Like I am telling you about my see experience and no care. Felt completely irrelevant as a customer and the service I had received. Being the only African American in this establishment being treated as such, it’s hard to not feel a certain way. Sad because my first encounter was so good. Not sure I will come back here again!

We stopped in on thanksgiving day for a snack between gambling and a turkey plate. We had broccoli cheddar soup, an appetizer sampler, and chips and queso. All our food was delicious and well priced. Our waitresses was friendly and quick!

Burgers, Beers, and Brisk Service at Alpine UnionLast night, the family dining squad - Madison (the burger connoisseur), Jess (the cheese aficionado), and myself (Michael, the rare burger enthusiast) - embarked on a culinary adventure at Alpine Union Bar & Kitchen, nestled in the bustling Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino.Madison tackled The #1 Burger, sans onions, like it was her last meal before a desert island drop-off. Medium-well, just how she likes her burgers and her humor. Jess went for the Black & Blue Burger, a masterpiece of blue cheese crumbles (in such abundance she could have started a cheese farm) and bacon, cooked medium to harmonize with her standards.Sweet potato fries were the unanimous side choice because, let’s face it, regular fries are so 2020. Jess and I washed down our burger bliss with a Deschutes Brewery IPA, because nothing says ‘gourmet’ like a burger with a side of craft beer.I, in a daring culinary move, chose the Mac N Cheese Burger. It's basically a carb tower with a beef foundation, and let me tell you, it was as majestic as it sounds. Requested rare, because I like to live on the edge. The place oozes cool vibes with ski-themed décor, offering a glimpse into a hipster’s winter wonderland. Outdoor seating with heaters for those who like their dinner with a side of fresh air, and a bustling bar area for the social butterflies. Now, the service. Picture a marathon with burgers and beers instead of water stations. The servers, outnumbered by hungry patrons, were basically sprinting. Service was a tad slow, but considering it was a two-man show on a Saturday night, they deserve medals, not complaints."Alpine Union: Where the burgers are as impressive as the staff's sprinting skills."
